I'm travelling to Berlin on business and on my own. This restaurant is really closed to the Mercure hotel. The beef steak was amazing and a great portion ( I couldn't finish it!). Good value for money. I'm not sure I have the same service/attention as the big tables did, but overall a good find.

Situated within walking distance of Alexander Platz, it was busy when we visited. A good selection of wines to accompany the steaks. I had rib-eye and while it was cooked as I like it was a bit tough. Service was attentive given how busy the restaurant was. If you are attracted by the 25% discount from the Welcome Guide, I... In short: Soup and wine way below our expectations. Steak was not more than ok. Overall price: we paid more of what we got. To summarize - next time we will go to other places.

Went to this place and didn't expect such a good caesar sallad but it was so simple and delicious that I came back for lunch the following day

Simple and concrete menu which makes easier to choose, small portions of salads so you can't get full and have space for the main dish. If you are vegetarian you won't have much option except grilled vegetables :D They had fantastic Pana Cota! I'm not giving the highest mark because of the service - the waiter was very inpatient to... More

Was staying at the Royal Leonardo hotel which is just around the corner from this small but very enjoyable steak restaurant. We were a group of six and each tried a different dish and everybody was very pleased. Will definately come again when in Berlin!

We were looking for a restaurant for dinner and we stumbled on this restaurant near the Royal Leonardo Hotel and what a find. One of the great restaurants in Berlin. Plates are great, be prepared to be satisfied. I would go again if in Berlin.

Fantastic food! Actually me and my friends visited the place to have some steak and we tried kangaroo stake, it was really delicious. Besides the tasty dishes, I would like to underline that the staff is very friendly and helpful, thank you guys! We had a great time!

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
