Perfect food after travelling all day. Right around the corner from Plus Berlin and definitely worth the short walk. Had two massive schnitzels and a nice portion of potato salad for €7.50. So so worth it and so so good.

No fuss - lots of guests. The place to get a quick bite. Find a table, if you can - else you can stand around. Schnitzels and french fries - beers and soda pops. The food is prepared and cooked behind the counter.

Very good what I call 'hangover' food. Tasty and basic, can't beat it for a quick munch. Generous portion of schnitzel with chips and an array of dips / sauces. My schnitzel came with garlic mushrooms ontop and a portion of coleslaw. They also do plain ones and ones topped with spicy chilli. Very nice.

Went here thanks to all the reviews (and it was right next to the hotel) and it lives up to them! Super tasty, freshly cooked with some kind of amazing sauce at the counter to help yourself to. Style is kind of post-apocolyptic grunge but don't be put off.

Visited here a few days ago on my annual trip to Berlin. The food is great and place itself is really cool. Will definitely be back.

Scheers Schnitzel is the kind of place you recommend when someone asks you: "I want to eat locals food". I am living here for almost 3 months and I didn't have any place in mind but here. Quite cozy. there are not so many places to sit, which is usual for Berlin, but unusually the service is quite good. English... More

Was surprised to have such a good Schnitzel here as you don't expect such a good quality when you look into the place from the outside. Try the Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and add some Rémoulade when served. Good price and better quality than in most far more expensive restaurants

Really relaxed, fast food style restaurant. Good location near the East Side Gallery. Cool looking place with murals and graffiti all over the internal walls. Very good value. Vegetarian and chicken schnitzel available as well as traditional schnitzel and varieties on that. Good service.

We visited here on our first night. Simple delicious food done well and for a bargain!! So good we went back a few nights later for more!! Great place to start the night before heading over the bridge to Kreuzberg for a few beers.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
