Food is alright, but over prized. The cashier didnt know how to use the cash maschine and her boss was also very unfriendly. We waited our food (cold drinks, mysli) really long, 25 minutes. Not the best way to start your day.

We came here a few times during our stay in Berlin. Staff made us feel welcome and they're English was good, which helped when ordering drinks. Wifi is available here too. Cold juices and cakes tasted very fresh! Would recommend you to stop by for a drink whilst in Berlin. Cool place to watch the world go by.

The cheesecake is the best, you should try! The rest of the menu is also versatile. It's good to sit, but could be more comfy. It's more or less a standard coffeeshop atmosphere.

A nice brunch and breakfast spot with a great assortment of cakes. Their sign says breakfast till 12 but we could still get some at around 14:00. So thumbs up for the service! We had the deluxe platter for two, but it could easily provide for up to three people. The staff was super nice and made us feel right... More

Beautiful cafe with delicious cakes and pastry, many options for breakfast, tasty sandwiches and bagels, and freshly pressed juice. Not mentioning the extremely good cappuccino. Pictures on the wall are on sale. Very nice atmosphere.

I completed an artist residency in Berlin in 2012 and this was my favourite cafe - visited again the other day and I still love it, no longer drink coffee, but there soy chai latte was pretty good. And my favourite is the salads - nice to have something fresh and simple. Cakes looked amazing too, free wifi and friendly... More

Great place. Scrambled eggs with tomato and onion highly recommended. And the stuff nice and helpful. Just wondering why you have to close your laptop at noon. :)

So, on our trip to Germany, our hotel was charging €16 for a buffet breakfast. Wanting to search out something a little cheaper we went exploring. This place is a GEM. Excellent food, from the bagel sandwiches to the croissants to the yogurt concoctions. Our fav was the strawberry crunch. Everything freshly made. Coffee was superb and service quick and... More

I have been to this cafeteria so many times for breakfast! I love their cakes (generous selection). They also offer vegan friendly food and beverage. Staff is nice and friendly. The place is modern and welcoming, people often stop there to work with their laptops (free WiFi). Atmosphere is definitely relaxing.

This place is cosy and the staff are nice, but that is all I can say. I waited over 45 minutes for the sweet breakfast (in the end I had to ask where it was - I think the kitchen forgot). The WiFi was also ridiculously slow and kept disconnecting. My food was nice and the selection of cakes on... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
