Nice atmosphere inside, and the interior is pleasing for the eyes. The cooking is good but for the price could be better. The service however is far from what it should be. Overall an average experience.

Went here for dinner and we loved the food. Everything was fresh and tasty. The beef udon was delicious with so much flavour. We ordered sushi, edamame, yakitori chicken, salmon, tempura prawns, beef udon and all were amazing. Atmosphere was also great. Definitely recommend it.

My husband and I went to Japan last year and since then we've been looking for a good Japanese restaurant that could meet the standards we were spoiled with. In terms of food, this restaurant comes very close. Everything we had was delicious. I ordered a crispy chicken bento box and decided to try the takoyaki as well. Aside from... More

We chose to have dinner here because of its pretty décor and the fact that a few people were waiting for a table. Servers were friendly enough but seemed to be a bit understaffed. We ordered salads, sushi and curry. Salads and curry were great! Sushi had good fish quality but the rice was rather a bit cold, almost like... More

We went here for an early lunch and ordered Kimchi and Octopusballs (try them!) along with two different main courses and all of them were tasty! Really neat and modern space and comfortable benches with cool music. 8 euro for lunch, 3 euros for sides.

OK. This is basically Japanese tapas. It's a nice spot on Rosenthaler Strasse. Staff are friendly & helpful. Some dishes are much better than others but it's a perfect place for getting multiple dishes to share. Smaller plates are under 4 euros, larger ones under 8. We ordered chicken karage (very good), edamame beans (can't go wrong), Takoyaki deep fried... More

Dropped in while searching for some nice dinner place after a tiresome day. We were lucky to get the pre-reserved table as the people reserved it were late, and the further reservations were unable as the place was fully booked in further perspective. We ordered: edamame, tofu salad, two "hungry menu" set "seafood domburi", four sashimi(salmon, tuna х2 and scallop),... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
