I stayed in Berlin at the Wallstreet Park Plaza around the corner and stumbled across this cute pink cafe for breakfast every morning. The first time we visited we shared the German sharer - a huge plate of meats and cheeses, another of yoghurt, honey, sour cream and Nutella along with a large bowl of fresh bread. The second day... I sometimes think being English Is a disadvantage and then other times it can be a bonus. This time it was definitely a disadvantage, the staff favoured local diners opposed to us and what should of been a nice spot of lunch turned into a example of discrimination. Shame is that the food was alright however the attitude of the... More

We were staying in the Titanic Hotel around the corner and the coffee was pretty awful so when we stumbled on this place we were delighted! Delicious Coffee, friendly staff and while we didn't eat there the food looked really good!!

Came here with my partner and 3 year old daughter for breakfast and we were nit disappointed. Food was fresh and most were healthy options which I like. The staff at Cappuccino were friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes were quite large and the price was very reasonable! I would definetly return.

Had the Cappuccino breakfast which set me up for the day. Good selection and coffee was delicious. Staff were very helpful. Intend to return for breakfast for remainder of trip. Staying at best western and this is literally across the road.

We had two of the 2-Person breakfasts. The food was fresh and very tasty. We got plenty of bread, meat, cheese and a selection of honey and jam. The staff was very friendly.

This is a much better alternative than a hotel breakfast. Well-prepared, fresh food and courteous service. Eggs, bacon, toast and salad breakfast for 6 euros!

Fair food and prices. We stayed in a hotel near this place and Caluccino was a perfect substitute for hotel beakfast :-)

I went here for breakfast and can't complain. I got the "german breakfast" for 7€. A big plate with ham, cheese, salami and much more. Staff was friendly and I got my order quickly. So I really can recommend and will come back.

Thank Torsten W

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
