Few words can describe my experience at Bocca di Bacco "Absolutely Amazing" i recommend the Giant Gambas with black risotto and the seafood linguini (not on the menu but the chef will gladly prepare it for you), do not miss out on the Tiramisu it is unbelievably delicious. This restaurant has amazing food and service. The best thing about it is the incredible collection of wine. You can actually view the wine cellar.

Picked it as being close to the Westin. Good food, though the service was pretty slow; prices were like central London.

Based on ratings and word of mouth we dined at Bocca last evening. The food was good but not amazing or wonderful.... However the service was inattentive and slow, from indifferent at best to incompetent. A thirty minute wait for a glass of wine; we were never asked if we wanted dessert and were just left sitting at the table.... More

A very nice, upper scale, restaurant that offers excellent service, a good Wine list and delicous dishes from a varied and not too extensive menu. Great central location at Friedrishstrasse. The venue is more elegant than cosy.

I'd booked a table for two in advance, having been recommended the restaurant by a friend that lives in the city, so that I could treat my wife to a lovely meal on her 50th birthday and we were sat at a nice table and were waited on promptly with drinks and the menu and wine list. After choosing what... More

I visit this restaurant once a year during my annual visit to Berlin and I have never been disappointed. We were four persons for dinner and the service was very good, attentive and friendly. The food served was authentic Italian fare and all four of us enjoyed the meal tremendously. The restaurant continues to set the mark for Italian restaurants... More

I began with the Zuppa Toscana. Unlike its name, this was not really a soup. It was rather a vegetable stew, since it contained almost no liquid. This was followed by the very tasty PAPPARDELLE CON RAGÚ DI SALSICCIA E BROCCOLO ROMANO. The service was a little slow.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
