So, the place is really cool with an amazing style and it is also big. I liked especially the 1st floor where it seems to stay in real flat and you can stroll about in the different rooms with lot of couches and sofa. Nevertheless, here it is allowed smoking (!!!) and the air is absolutaly unhealthy (literally unbreathable). A... More

Stopped here for afternoon cake and coffee and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English which helped when choosing from the array of cakes. Coffee was good and the cake was excellent, portions are huge though!

We went here twice for drinks. The service is excellent and very friendly. In fact the waiter remembered our order on our second trip. There are a good selection of beers and I had delicious reisling.

Turbo hipster. Whilst here I genuinely saw a man take a selfie with a disposable camera whilst his iPhone was on the table in front of him. The barmaid told me off for finding change too slowly. If you like that sort of thing its great.

My sister and I strolled through the streets and searched for a nice bar. We choose Dachkammer. It's a nice bar, service is fine and the drinks are also fine.

I didnt eat here! But the staff were really friendly and very helpful. They do great cocktails too - very nice to sit inside or out - filled with old sofas. can be found down Simon-Dach-Str which is filled with lots of great bars & restaurants.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
