You'd have to know it was here, but a really lovely (quite large once you're inside!) restaurant with great service and ambience. Not brilliant for veggies, but then that's true of all of Germany! And they do much more than just steak.

The atmosphere of the restaurant made it a decent French look and it was a really nice feel. The waiters are the guys who make us feel really wanted and served us, then a tall annoying top waiter who processed our bill with credit card completely spoiled it for all of us! He was rude and unaccommodating and even asked for... More

We had a lovely meal here on the last night of our trip to berlin even though there were very busy they made sure to get us a table. The food was delicious, reasonably priced for the type of restaurant and the service was great. Would recommend to others - it was very convenient to our hotel (the Mercure) which... More

We went there to celebrate a family birthday for six of us. The final bill with two bottles of wine and a bottle of Bollinger was about £450 but the meal was superb and you get what you pay for. Its the sort of place we would return to if we go back to Berlin.

We had a lovely dinner at Entrecôte on Friday 24th March. We booked a table before we left Scotland. Meal was perfect and would definitely recommend the entrecôte major steak. Not cheap but well worth it.

Lovely interior and the service was good. Had a Filet which was great. Nice wine selection. Good place for a date, with friends or visiting relatives. Location is accessible to other things you may want to do after dinner.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
