Once this place was popular and celebrities visited it but now I sense that the glamour faded away, only the extremly high prices stayed. The price range is fine dining but I would never classify this average quality place a fine dining restaurant. The food was average at best, it was totally forgottable. The meat was OK but it had... Having read on line reviews of the Paris Bar I booked in advance of our trip to Berlin. It did not disappoint. Buzzy atmosphere, good food and service - would recommend.

We were here, have read a lot about the restaurant, especially that it could be that the waiters are a bit arrogant because the restaurant being famous. We loved the setting, sitting and around us history with art and photos to remind the past, and we, we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed French Coté de Provence, we enjoyed excellent waiters,... More

This was our favourite restaurant during our five days in Berlin. Everything was great as it can be. The food was unforgettable tasty, really (cock-au-vin plus some dessert). The service was splendid, a little arrogant, but in a good – Parisian - way. They know the limits and are not going to the wrong side. We liked that. And there... More

Upon entering the restaurant we were asked for our name and our reservation was found. The restaurant has the feel of a Parisian bistro and looks cozy messy. Tables are close to each other. The menu was placed on the table without further explanation or clarification. We ordered oysters, black pudding, snails and entrecote. About the food we can be brief;... More

Dinner with some business friends in this apparently must know place where stars used to go in and out. Decent french cuisine, where meet is really good. Service is a bit bar style so not really too much around you. If you need something, you need get the attention of the staff, which is a bit disappointing. For the price... More

A French bistro restaurant with art projects throughout and a huge local following. Make a reservation, and plan to sit in the corners if you are not a local. That said, the service was friendly and helpful, but be prepared for the pace to be leisurely. We all had the steak frites. Steaks were very good. Not good, not great,... More

Tiny. Sweet. Art everywhere. Moules frites. Escargots in sizzling butter. Crisp, cold, crunchy, flavorful romaine and cherry tomatoes. Sautéed zucchini. Honestly, I want to go back tomorrow and the tomorrow after that.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
