People complain that there’s too much meat on the menus in Germany....not here. Two vegetarian and one vegan course on the menu, and the two we tried were excellent..a linguini and a risotto, preceded by excellent salads, and followed by a wonderfully presented strawberry dessert....More

My wife and I enjoyed two meals here on a recent trip to Berlin. Outside dining here in the gorgeous courtyard of the Hackescher Hof is a delightful experience. At a lunch visit, my wife had a tasty mushroom risotto and I had an enjoyable...More

This is the second time we had breakfast at Oxymoron after we did so in 2009. It's something like a hidden treasure on a little square surrounded by buildings. The food is excellent and the service was good. Recommended!

We stumbled upon the restaurant while lost...best surprise ever. Charming place, eating inside or out, blankets provided. It appears that they change their menu daily and offer about 10-15 items. I had a pasta dish with apricots, spring onions fresh mushrooms. The flavors literally exploded...More

Been here several times over the years, best for brunch in my opinion. The service is always good, and the quality of food and value for money good too. The setting is 1920’s Berlin, and in the beautiful Hackescher Höfe. Well worth a visit.

We came across this beautiful restautant by chance. We enjoyed excellent dishes of fish, ravioli, carpaccio, gazpacho and salad. Every dish was perfect by quality, display and portion. The bonus is the perfect location amidst the Hackescher Hofe.

Fantastic food, complex subtle flavours and our service was excellent. A oasis hidden away from a busy street.

In general the food we order and service was excellent. Waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and food was very good, except a little short on salt, but it is "today tendency" to make food less salty. Although by our request cook made additional cup of...More

Nice place in a cool spot with terrible service. It may have due to the language barrier or the fact that we were foreigners and black Americans at that? I hope not. It just seemed odd that the table of four locals who were seated...More

It’s in the Hackesche Hofe and offers great breakfast and coffee. Located in a lovely neighborhood where you can stroll around Hofes and enjoy art installations and atmosphere

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

only was there for brunch, it was pretty empty, I think Berlin is pretty friendly in general, it's more about how you wanna enjoy the experience.
