5 course menu and perfectly selected wines, will cost you around 120 euro, and it is worth every euro cent. Reserve in time either 18.30 or 2100. 7 tables and attentive snd knowledgable service. Unique atmosphere and food!

I was in Berlin for a short trip with my two teenage son's and found this restaurant purely by chance. What a find! We were lucky enough to walk in and get a table. The food was superb and the service was really attentive and informative.

If you like French food and great service - go here. Only thing, there is sometimes happening too much on the plate and the stuff they use could easily stand alone or in a simpler context. But overall, still very positive and worth every Euro cent :)

Wow..wow..wow!! What an experience! This is a tiny restaurant that has only seven tables and serves a set four or five course menu. The food is on par with Michelin star restaurants I have visited! The menus are very creative with some food combinations and ingredients I have never experienced before. Everything is made in house and is spectacular! Great... More

Do not be deterred by modest appearance of the place. During 42-days European trip - most exiting dining experience, especially if compare to some of Michelin-star restaurants in other capitals of Europe. The chef has an absolute taste and was able to make you experience the essence of his insight. Perfect wine-pairing choice.

I think both restaurants Bandol and Bandol sur Mer, although they have different listings on TRIpadvisorare the same place. We ate a la carte, and had absolutely marvelous wine suggestions from the server, truly a sommelier.

The Bandol-sur-mer is a cool, small, kind of gourmet restaurant, with only 16 chairs. You have to make a reservation. The staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We all had the five course set menu at 69 euros, with accompanying wine 39 euros. While the first courses were good, they didn't blow your mind, but the last three courses... More

This restaurant is a favourite of my daughter so when I visited she wanted to share it with me. Service-I am surprised at some of the reviews as I found the service from "the bloke" was exceptional. The menu was explained clearly, his manner was friendly and he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wines. Food was brilliant. The portions were... More

After four visits over three years to this tiny quirky restaurant the food only gets better, yes it has a certain industrial unfinished look to it, but the food is amazing, having eaten at many Michelin restaurants this really should be in the list, but hey if that we're the case you would never get a table. The service when... More

On the same evening as we were made to feel unwelcome at "3 Minutes sur Meer" (see my review if you wish), we were lucky enough to get a table straight away at Bandol's. I cannot confirm the negative impression others had about the service, but I must also say we were served by the lovely lady rather than by... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
