Came here with a friend to celebrate us running the Berlin Marathon. It was a rainy Sunday night so was not very busy at all. Prices were reasonable and it was a very close walk to where I was staying.

We have been here with some colleagues in winter season. We had very good Wiener schnitzel and very nice sups. It is very traditional and the food is very well done. It seems a very nice place also for the summer season with all the...More

When you need a beer at a nice warm summer evening, go there. Quite often they have a beer that has been brewed for them exclusively. The food is average, but one might have a beer here and go for dinner at another location nearby...More

9.29.17 Discovered this place via my wife bringing up the fact it has been here since 1837 in the Old East German Communist Section only a block or so from the Berlin Wall that separated East and West. Here is the deal; Vom Fass Beer...More

We visited here with friends who we hadn't seen in ages and it was a great place to have a few drinks in the late afternoon. We didn't have food, so I can't comment, but the service was good, and despite it being fairly busy...More

We visited here on our first night in Germany for dinner. We started with a beer outside but went inside to eat because the food options outside were limited. My wife had the duck - which was generous, well seasoned, crispy on top and tender....More

One of the best things to do while in Germany is to drink beer! Nice surroundings although when I visited it was cold and has rain showers so there were just a few people around. It could've been perfect if the wurst or some foods...More

No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in

crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
