Went there 3x in 2017. This is a really good resturant. The ownership is very friendly ... if you give them an opportunity to do so. Only reason I don't give a 5 is that their wine list is a bit limited. We would go...More
We visited Heising restaurant having read the good reviews on tripadvisor. Decor wise it is somewhat like stepping back in time with dark ornate wooden furniture and disappointingly there were times when we didn’t feel particularly relaxed, as talking was very much reserved to a...More
So ... I returned in October, 2018, to Restaurant Heising because I previousy enjoyed the fine dining, the ambience, attention to detail and, most of all, the welcome (by name !) and conversation from Frau Heising and Fraulein Franziska ... not forgetting Nicole. I enjoyed...More
After reading so many good comments on trip advisor, we have decided to give it a try at Heising. My secretary has made reservation for a party of 10 people in early September and re-confirmed with them the day prior to our dinner reservation. The...More
It's very like being in my grand-parents front room; lovely antique tables and chairs. All a bit strange. The door is locked on arrival, cash only (perhaps why the door is locked on leaving!). Food is average, wine choice minimal (nothing more expensive than €48)....More
Heising is quite small restaurant so make a reservation. Everything I ate (foie gras, snails, veal and cheese selection) were delicious and absolutely worth the price. Four course meal was 58€/person and wines were around 40€/bottle.
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Hello Paulette. From my experience, Franziska (Fraulein Heising) will not confirm a reservation request until about a month before the date so don't be surprised or disappointed if you do not receive a response to your email at this stage. Please note, the Restaurant Heising is cash only! Enjoy the experience. Best regards, Ron Munro
