Every time we visit Berlin we go to have our breakfast at the Einstein. Fabulous egg dishes and rolls, love the butter and the European coffeehouse feeling. Might not be the cheapest breakfast place but worth every cent.

Attended on New Years Eve. Food was great and had a set menu which was good value considering the day. It featured the goulash which was very tasty. Staff a bit rushed on that evening.

What a traditional German Café, steeped in history. Great range of food, from snacks, sandwiches, home made soup to Apple Strudel and many other delicious home made cakes. A great range of drinks from Gluhwein to warm you up on a cold January day to...More

This place, while simple and plain on the surface, is quietly rather elegant and old-school. We joined a fairly well-heeled, older crowd tucking into traditional German main course lunches. I had the goulash, which was hearty and very tasty: the meat was meltingly tender and...More

For me it was the best breakfast in Berlin. Everything we ordered was very delicious (try the cheese plate & eggs benedict;), the atmosphere was very classy and the staff was great. I would love to visit again once we go again!! 😊

We had trouble finding somewhere for breakfast on Christmas Eve! We stumbled upon this little restaurant and it is a gem! Lovely staff, very comfortable and tasty food. Not overly expensive and worth it for quality food. Nice coffee too. Will go for breakfast tomorrow!

It's one of the famous cult-locations of the city where you will almost always find someone of public life dining beside you.

We ate at Cafe Einstein one late afternoon as we wanted to try wiener schnitzel at a convenient restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient, and food came quickly. The portion sizes were generous. We try a normal and small sized schnitzel and two glasses...More

So after a day walking around Berlin (10km), we decided to reward ourselves with something naughty: Wiener schnitzel. Having done a bit of research, the nearest recommended place was: Einstein unter den Linden, not to be mistaken for the Cafe Einstein or the various Einstein Kaffees...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
