The food was typical German. We loved iT: goulash soup, sausages excellent. The ober was Turkish, the cook Chinese and the public Japanese. We were from Holland. An international spectacle! We laughed about it and had a good time!

This restaurant was a delightful find. There is a good selection of beer and a large menu of food. We had the pork knuckle and meatloaf (with a fried egg). The pork knuckle comes with sauerkraut and fried potatoes. The pork knuckle is cooked perfect...More

Their steak cooked on stone is absolutely amazing! My husband likes medium well and I like medium rare. We were able to cut in half and cook to our own liking at the table.

This used to be a great place, not so much anymore. With so many great places in Frankfurt..... Traditional German dishes, small portions. My schnitzel was small and chewy.

I wouldn't want to go all the time but every time I visit Frankfurt (once a year) I go at least once! They actually have a descent menu but pretty much everyone has the steak on a stone, with potatoes and beer. It's an experience...More
