We stopped off for a quick Kölsch and whilst the beer was good, the server was very rude. Typical tourist spot directly across from the Dom. Much better offerings if you walk a bit further.

A very busy restaurant in the center of the city. Traditional German food. Pork knuckle, sausages and schnitzel. A LOT of beer. Service is as good as can be expected at this type of place. Hundreds of people seated at long tables. Enjoy the moment...More
We arrived very late after the kitchen was closed, but we had beer and enjoyed the festivities of the evening, with a live band and lots of German sing-a-long. Fun times and a great welcome to Germany and it's culture.

Serving the special Cologne beer (kolch) and catering for large numbers with good hearty German fare. Waiters may challenge you to drink a toast in one gulp!
This place was recommended by a German executive Chef that I work with. The service is great, Kölsch beer tastes delicious. We both had the Schnitzel with Pfifferlingen; a traditional and typical dish which I strongly recommend. A place to go more often!
