Came for the atmosphere in Old Town Mülheim. Rustic and absolute original restaurant. Food was not quite what I expected. I appreciate the farm to table approach but didn't think the food matched the atmosphere. Found it rather too fancy and way too pricey.

Not often that I write a stinker of a review but this was positively the worst food I have ever had in Germany. Very long wait for my Schnitzel, one of the few things I recognised on a densely regional menu including dumplings, chestnuts, snails and so on. The schnitzels were grey leathery items in puffy and oily batter accompanied... More

Friendly service, cosy atmosphere and the best and most tender goose meal I ever had. Highly recommended if you are in Mülheim.

Just perfect place to sit and drink beer with friends! What do we need for that? Fresh beer, tasty food, warm atmosphere and interior of old German house - the place has all of that! Just 5 minutes walk from Forum (city railway station). I definitely recommend it!

During our visit we went back this year too. No disappointment. Kind reception, warm welcome by the nice young waitresses, of course schweinhaxe and beer(s). They brought some starters, including a perfect soup in a small mug. We intend to come back.

An upmarket private restaurant on the edge of the old town (situated next to the Petri Kirche). Menu consists of either a 3 or 4 course menu from €33 or a là carte with a range of high quality dishes. Extensive wine list and bier vom Faß. Staff speak English and menus have English translations. A place to visit to... More

In the old town area, very quaint and like stepping back in time. Three of us ordered soup plus two Argentinian steaks and fish option. Good early attentive service, but the wait of an hour between courses a bit tiresome, thank goodness for the extra breads. Food was well worth the wait though. Very reasonable cost bearing in mind the wine,... More

ery original restaurant in the historic district. In the absence of an elevator has rapidly rise up, but the impression of merit. A typical menu for restaurants in Germany, but is a distinct feeling of space. I advise you to visit especially if you visit this pleasant town
