Went here for lunch before football game. Really nice and helpful staff and they spoke really good english. Absolutely amazing and fresh beer from their own brewery. Food was ok and portions were good size. Prices were ok too. Only good thing to say about this place!

We had read about this place before our trip to Mainz so we already expected it to be good...we didn't expect to want to live there forever, slowly growing larger and larger as we're fed an endless round of different meats and home brewed beers. Seriously, this place is that good. The food menu is vast with a little something... More

Lively bar scene; especially Friday and Saturday nights. Mostly beer and wine options; very few spirits. Pretty good menu for a bar and what we had was enjoyed by all.

I have been there to try one of the local restaurant with typical German food, and it was the perfect place. Good beers and sausages and pork shank and pretzel.

One of the best places where you can enjoy the German food. But, the best is their homemade bier. Maybe a little bit expensive, but it could be justified

The best place to have dinner and discover what the Germans eat. But, without any kind of doubt, their homemade Beer is one of their best attractive. A little bit expensive, but like every German restaurant

I went here last week with some friends for dinner, and it was amazing! I got the schnitzel which was probably at least a foot long. It was - I think - the best schnitzel I've had in Germany. The house beer was fantastic too. We didn't order it, but you can order a 3-liter or a 5-liter tower of... More

I love swinehauxen. It's usually the only meal I order in Germany. The swinehauxen at Eisgrub is always large, crispy, and well seasoned. It's the best I've found in Germany. I order it with the red cabbage. I starve myself before eating there, but I never seem to finish more than half of my meal. The restaurant also serves as... More

Lively atmosphere and good Beer. This is a typical German Pub, so if you are around the area is worth giving it a shot.
