Interesting building with large glassed in area between two buildings. Busy mid week dinner. Friendly staff, prompt service, Czech Beer, what more could you want. Nice selections of deserts. Not expensive.

This is a place to have a good beer, but the food is very average. Price is reasonable, but you can have better food in Dresden for the money.

Huge place, but we came during lunch mid-week and it was relatively quiet. Sat outside with a nice view of Königstrasse. Perfect for enjoying a nice Czech beer. The lunch specials were very good value and filled us up for the day with hearty Czech/German food. If you aren't in the mood for a meat-and-potatoes kind of meal, don't eat... More

My husband and I enjoy sitting here and we definitely enjoy drinking the beer (a very tasty selection), but dinner is a different story. It seems mostly to be various forms of pot roast, and they're all pretty expensive for the area (about 15 euros per entree is the median price, I'd say). I respect that this is fairly traditional... I have to admit that I like the ambiance thus moderate food and lousy service. As a tourist this place is of course cool. Mixed flair between German and Czech, the food too. Our lil boy n I shared the cooked leg knuckle (pig) as I expected it to be huge and I wasnt that big eater anyway. The dish... More

We sat in the glass covered area, which was like being in a cross between indoors and outdoors. I liked this. I had Wienerschnitzel with potatoes and cucumber salad and my husband had venison, served with Brussel sprouts and Czech dumplings. We drank Budvar beer. All good.

This is a very popular restaurant and we at some typical German food (Schweinshaxe mit Sauerkraut und Knoedel) on the first night. Whilst the beer is home brewed on the premises and very good the food was mediocre (arrived far too quickly which is always a bad sign). Wouldn't go back.

Popped in for lunch having had a drink here a couple of days ago. A pleasant spot - very light and airy surroundings. Service was friendly, quick and efficient and the food was tasty.
