We arrived in Dresden this afternoon and after doing some gentle sight seeing we wanted to get some traditional German grub for our evening meal! We were recommended this restaurant by our travel guide and we were very surprised with the quality - it was great! We were welcomed in and the waiter instantly recognised that we were clueless English... More

Stopped at this restaurant and had an excellent meal. It was asparagus season so we were able to get entrees that had the succulent plant on our plates. The food was delicious! Wait staff were very helpful and attentive.

I love knuckle, but this one was chewy. It's been served in matters of minutes, so the quick delivery was not promising. Unfortunately the meat was not cooked well, and the pork skin was not crispy at all. I was struggling with the meat for a while, but at the end I left the half of the knuckle on the... More

Authentic food with good service , desserts are awesome, too. Try duck and pork, it's the must. Ambience is great and variety of beer, it's a go to restaurant by many foreigners on business trip.

Good for local food, nice atmosphere. Fair prices. I had the Sauerbraten, which was tasteful. Good beers with it, of course :).

I woud say that the meal was not that exciting (especially the dessert and the coffee) while - instead - their Lager Beer was great.

We found this in the Main square near the Frauenkirche and what an excellent find. I can recommend this for people looking for some traditional German food with a rustic atmospshere. Meals are a good size and value for monez. The staff were helpful adn friendly. They also spoke english with my parents who didn't speak German like myself. Wide... More

Great liters, pretzels, and German food. This feels like a place that locals love and was friendly to visitors too. Definitely not a tourist trap.

We had a nice dinner here outside at the terrace. Extensive menu with classic German dishes, well prepared. I loved my Schweinshaxe, which came very good cooked with fresh vegetables. Good wine list, everything properly priced. Friendly staff, certainly worth a visit
