It’s an adequate place to have a break after having visited the Neustadt Dresden and being about to cross the bridge to return to the historical center or while visiting the formerly mentioned part of the city. The premises are very well lit up and from there, either outside on the terrace or inside, a marvelous view over the Hauptstrasse... More

Lovely ice cream cafe with good views of the square and bridge. Huge variety of ice cream sundaes so you are sure you find something you like. Staff are very friendly and give you time - there is no rush to pay and leave as soon as you finish! They are a bit expensive - 7/8 euros per sundae -... More

After lunch in a neighboring Italian restaurant "La Piazetta", I decided to have an ice-cream and capuccino on the terrace of this lovely café. From the terrace of "the Venezia" you have a nice view on the "Dresden Neustadt" marketsquare with the golden statue of the King-Horseman" Augustus the Strong". Service was fast and professional and the ice-cream was perfect... More

Big place, good situation, and delicious ice creams, the price was what I expected. Maybe the only claim is. If you are looking for cold place in summer inside I didnt feel the air conditioner.

Just over the bridge in the neustadt this eiscafe has a good selection of ice cream of varying types. Good view of the river and efficient service. Nice enough way to pass half an hour! 🍧

We had a perfect day in Dresden traveling around the palaces and the other monuments of the renewed old city. When it was time to take a refreshing break, we decided to take some distance from the crowded atmosphere of the usual food quarter of the old city, by crossing the bridge over the river. There we found this lovely... More

We went to ice-cream part to see what they have and they took our order there, not asking if it's to stay or to go. We got coffee in paper cup instead of normal one... When we sat inside, a waitress came to us and told us next time we should leave cause it's to take away! It also makes... More

Eiskafes are all over Germany. I went here a couple of times. If you sit outside near the bridge you get a good view of the bridge and the golden rider. The elaborate ice creams can be expensive but you can always get a coke float and enjoy the same experience!

We managed to get a good ice cream cone to go just before closing on a balmy Friday night in August and thus could enjoy our walk to the hotel with something sweet. We would come back to the large open café just for the view from the large outdoor seating area – right next to the Goldener Reiter statue,... More

Excellent deserts, big desserts and too many to choose from! Good coffee. Menu cards were very easy with a picture for every desert including a written description (in German). The waitresses take your order at the table like at a restaurant which was nice. The toilets were locked but you received a receipt when you ordered and this also had... More
