On the corner of the Grimmaische Strasse and the Nikolaistrasse. We ate an ice cream with fresh strawberrys.... Enormous portion and of very good quality and above all not expensive at all. If you like ice cream, do take a stop at San Remo.

I just had a piece of take away pizza. 1/4 pizza for 3€ -good price, It was yummy. But the staff weren't that friendly (seemed really busy although there weren't many people) and there were no napkins.

San Remo has many things to offer, but we come here for its superior ice creams which are served in many different arrangements. The terrace near the famous Nikolaikirche is also worth mentioning.

We went there to an 'espresso italiano'. It was quite good, but the price for one coffee was 5€. Unfortunately, we didn't check the price before ordering. In a bar just some steps away a coffee was about 2€. A cheaper espresso could be found even near Fontana di Trevi in Rome, so 5€ was way too much for a... More

We stopped in for a lunch visit and it was quite crowded. We waited approx 15 minutes for a table. My friend and I each ordered a pizza and it was delicious! The waiter took our order and the pizza arrived in a very timely fashion! We also ordered ice cream and it was great! Being from the US, I... More

Quiet corner across from famous Nikolai Church, great waffles and you can hear bells and street musicians as you eat. Decent service

I really don't like the San Remo at all. It is true that they have OK ice cream that is somewhat in the style of Italy, but if you sit down it really isn't a pleasant place at all. Here is what happened. Tonight was one of the hottest nights of summer and a dinner of ice cream for me... More

This is the real McCoy, the most delicious icecream to be eaten outside Italy. When in Leipzig I go at least once a day and try out all their different flavours. During the summer there are always queues which is a good sign because it means that everything is freshly made. No visit to Leipzig is complete without having tasted... More
