Our concierge Maria at our Hotel Palacio del Bailio recommended this restaurant to us....since it was our first time in Cordoba. Boy! ....were we so glad to take her recommendation to eat there!!! We walked just a couple of hundred feet from our hotel front door to their entrance. Do be aware that the Spaniards do not eat early like... More

We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel. We walked in and were the only ones there. The waiter was attentive but not overly so. We tried a few tapas - half rations - each of which were good. By the time we left, the restaurant was full of locals. Definitely try!

Beautiful, traditional Spanish restaurant. It is located in an old noble house, traditionally Andalucian, with lovely tiles. The service was attentive, but not imposing, and the food was just wonderful. We had beef carpaccio and saldad, some "salmorejo" and more meat for the entrée. Good wine selection. We will be back!

During our two week stay in Andalucia in September, this was our best meal. We had walked past the restaurant on several occasions and it always seemed empty and devoid of atmosphere. This was because it was before 9pm. On our last day in Cordoba we arrived just after 9 and asked for a table - even though it was... More

My starter was jamon coupled with eggplant fries (which looked like French fries, but weren’t). The jamon was extremely tasty, just great. I recommend to sprinkle a bit of olive oil on the eggplant fries, really yummy. My main dish was the grilled hake, which was also very good. Just watch out for the small bones. This place seems to... This restaurant is located in an open air courtyard (surrounded on four sides). Typical of the town, the environment is very tranquil. The wait staff was very friendly (with limited, but serviceable English) and recommended several dishes and a very inexpensive but good wine.

We ordered a paella from here 24 hours before. Our lunch was just amazing. Sat in the sunny courtyard under an orange tree. Salted almonds and fino to start. The owner came out to ask when she should put the rice on!!! The paella came and was shown to us before being dished up. It was really delicious and full... More

We've been here several times on our trips to Córdoba and it was always excellent, both food and matching well chosen wines. We'll definitely come back on our next visit.

We placed our order and waited for 40 minutes to get out starters. Once we asked about the food we were told that they were out of tuna and the waiter was extremely rude and disrespectful.
