Had a lovely lunch here during a cruise ship excursion. Excellent food and nice wine. The building is a fabulous old house with a stained glass covered courtyard.

This place is just a disappointment. The building is phenomenal, the location is great. We seat on the terrace for dinner but the food was nothing special as well as the service. It might be that Inside they have a different menu, or at least I hope for them. I really had different expectations for such a place!

I ate here because it was right around the corner from where I was staying. The building is supposedly historic, but I did not eat in one of the historic rooms. The tapas here were ok, but nothing to know your socks off. The service was ok as well as the staff. But the price of the food did not... More

This is a most attractive restaurant to look at inside and outside. The waiting staff were efficient and helpful. I found the food very good, but some members of the party didn't care for things such as oxtail or the meatballs ( a bit like scotch egg).

My daughter and I had dinner here at 10:00 pm, and so enjoyed our visit. The staff were so friendly, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere is old world and beautiful. I had garlic soup and a terrific bull's tail entree--both excellent. Very reasonable prices.

The food was good but the service was terrible. The waiter forgot some of our order and instructions. The food for my husband and me, came out at different times, so one of us was eating while the other waited for their food to arrive. Wouldn't go back.

Unfortunately the food does not match the lovely surroundings. Perhaps the fact that we were a large party which causes problems for catering, had something to do with it. We were served a meal that was probably the worse meal I have eaten in Spain. The appetizer Salmorejo Cordobes was fine if you didn't mind the large amount of salt... More

Beautiful surroundings, attentive staff, we shared grilled prawns to start followed by an excellent fillet steak with mushroom sauce, and tasty iberico pork. Veg could have been better (fried potatoes were a little hard). Delicious desserts, "Calahorra Tower" surprisingly light and original. Pricey but worth it for a change from tapas/sharing plates and for a special occasion.

cleaning up the typos and auto-correct of my original review--sorry readers!! while its a nice environment, its a nicely done restaurant in an old building setting, the food is just average, and so is the service, its local Cordoban food, but still average at best

We ate here because of good reviews and we liked the look of the place. We had a decent meal but nothing special. The grilled pork was tasty but a bit over-cooked. The restaurant has an atrium courtyard and it really needs to be heated more in February as we ended up keeping our coats on! Service was adequate but... More
