We ate at Bodegas Mesquita Cespedes after visiting the Mesquita. It is seconds away. The variety on the menu is fantastic and we ate samplings from many choices. Recommended highly.

It is one of the most fascinating places I visited.Nice and clean narrow streets...Old buildings still intact..Flower street was amazing...Colorful fronts with different colours..The whole locality,20 to 25 sq kms, takes you really to the past..

Excellent food and a very popular place. Consider booking a table. The visiting amount of people affects the service however, and we encountered several incidents in this matter, everything from having to order twice, drinks were forgotten, other drinks on the tab once you want to pay and so on. However, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again since their tapas... More

Very good food at an affordable price. The service is great, especially if José is your waiter and the menu is available in a lot of languages. It was hands down my favourite place to eat in Córdoba. I came back three times during my visit of 10 days, I would definetly recommend this place to everyone.

After visiting the Mesquita we were starving, so just wandering around nearby, found this gem of a restaurant. Of course we were early by Spanish standards so there were only a few tables occupied, but by the end of our meal the restaurant was full of local families. The food was delicious and the service was outstandingly friendly. Behind the... More

Lively tapas bar/restaurant in a great location. The service was speedy and very friendly. The food was fantastic- delightful meatballs in an almond and saffron sauce, delicious oxtail and tasty pork. Two starters, two mains and four glasses of good Rioja came to €49. Absolute bargain and well worth a visit.

We liked this restaurant so much we returned a couple of nights later. It's a stone's throw from the mosque-cathedral and appears very popular. Eggplant in honey was fabulous. Many good vegetarian dishes. Waiters were very helpful with non-Spanish speakers.

No paella since I was alone and they need minimum two people for making paella. They offered to me rice with see fruits but the rice was old prepared probably in the morning and it was late evening.

Dear Customer, For your comment, I think it has been confused with another restaurant. In our menu, we offer only one type of rice ( “perol cordobés de ibérico y setas”) we don’t have rice with fruits and it isn’t necessary to ask for two people, we offer for one person. Regards. More

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and food was great. Served typical Spanish tapas food which was well priced and the everything tasted great. Best part of the restaurant was the service - very international friendly (which included an iPad with lots of different languages) and the waiters were very helpful and friendly.
