We stopped by for lunch and end up going back for dinner as well. Because we wanted to try other dishes! Sautéed baby squids with cabbage salad was very refreshing combination. Sephardi lamb cooked in honey, nuts and raisins with couscous was very tasty. We...More

Excellent food and great service. my husband and I had dinner on our last night in Cordoba and found the ambience and service to be excellent. Our one complaint would be that any restaurant in Spain would serve canned olives in a salad! Otherwise Wonderful!

Our moods went up drastically after a long day under the watchful eye of Manu, who knew just how to engage my daughters for maximum laughter and relaxation. With the gazpacho, which was lovely, he brought four different spoon options for my younger daughter, from...More

This restaurant was right down the street from our hotel and seemed too convenient to the Mezquita but came well recommended so we ate dinner after a long day. It was delicious, well prepared from very fresh ingredients, with each dish of tapas served quickly...More

Delicious! The eggplant with sticky Pedro Ximenez sauce is possibly THE BEST eggplant dish I've ever eaten. Service was excellent - the right balance of attention when needed and giving you time to enjoy your meal. Rossy - my server - was fabulous and recommended...More

Our lovely server Monica very helpfully guided us (in perfect English) through the fish and veggie menu options and helped us select some really fantastic items. The quality of the food was enough to earn 5 stars but it was the wonderfully friendly and helpful...More

Walking out of the mosque, this restaurant is right outside, and just one block away from the Roman Bridge. Friendly staff who speak English, their ample spacing gives you choice between their upstairs and downstairs seating. Seeking some traditional Cordoban delicacies, I ordered the Salmorejo...More

Good food, friendly English speaking waitstaff, ambience lackluster. Our waitress was Rossy who was nice enough to write her name on a trip advisor scannable ratings card which was passed out at the meal’s conclusion. This is how you become #2 of the hundreds of...More

We ate here last night much to our disappointment. It was recommended highly and honestly, I am baffled by these amazing reviews. We ordered meatballs, patatas bravas and calamari with bread to get us going. The meatballs were ok but it felt as though they...More

Bodega Mezquita. Tavern- traditional restaurant located in the Jewish quarter, close to MEzquita Catedral of Cordoba. An exceptional place where you can taste the best plates and tapas of cordovan gastronomy. Family business which we initiated our path in the 60s, is one of the favourite establishments as people from Cordoba as visitor from our city, when they want enjoy of authentic cordovan tapeo and best wines from our land. Cuisine which is made with traditional method, is essence of Andalucian gastronomic culture, with the best products from the rich cordovan land: Iberian ham, sheep cheese and meat from Valle de Los Pedroches, olive oil virgin extra, fortified wine from Montilla Moriles... As could not be otherwise, our specialities are: the famous Salmorejo Cordobes, Berenjenas a la miel, Flamenquin and Rabo de Toro. Our quality is recognised for numerous prize and honours like SICTED among others and the best guides to national and international travels too.
