We visited La Oliva on our second night in Granada, a beautiful city with amazing food that is incredibly reasonable. However, La Oliva was something special even for Granada. Francisco our host was charming and so attentive, a glass was never unfilled and he always...More

Our experience at La Oliva was fantastic - it absolutely exceeded our expectations! If you enjoy an opportunity to sample a wide variety of locally inspired, delicious food & wine (and of course, olive oil!) coupled with warm, friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere, a...More

We stumbled upon Oliva last year in April when we were actually waiting for another restaurant to open. After full day of walking around Alhambra we were tired and hungry. We must have looked desperate , as Francisco proposed to take us in and serve...More

We absolutely loved our meal at La Oliva, and cannot recommend this experience enough. A huge tasting menu with five accompanying wines, all for €38 each. There were only three parties in the room when we visited, including ourselves, and Fransisco took great care to...More

We cannot say enough about our La Oliva meal! We were the only patrons this particular evening and were treated lavishly, extravagantly. Dude is 65 and going strong. Cooks tasting meals as he feels like it based on market ingredients he thinks look the best....More

I like unique dining experiences and this was one of the best ones. La Olivia is a small olive oil store with a couple of tables and a makeshift kitchen. The night we were there there were a total of six guests. It is run...More

In my opinion no visit to Granada is complete without a visit to Fransisco at La Olivia. La Olivia is not a restaurant and should not be judged as one. It is a chance to meet a wonderful man and, for a couple of hours,...More

This is NOT a restaurant and it is so much BETTER this way. We had a great time with Francisco and his team. They prepared over 15 courses of some of the most delicious tapas I've ever had and paired them with 5 different wines....More

Really a true journey through spanish couisine! Francesco is using very basic spanish ingridients, but with his skill he takes out the full taste. His knowlwdge of mixing some, for us at least, strange tastes, along with traditional receipes is something that each true food...More

This is not a restaurant in the traditional sense. You feel like Francisco has invited you into his attic study, where he will make you tea and heat some canned soup on his hot plate and camping stove. But what you get instead is the...More

For the restaurant, because the meal has many courses, it lasts for a few hours. For this reason Francisco tells guests what time they need to arrive. I think we were asked to arrive at about 7pm
