Sometimes you find a restaurant that you want to keep secret so that you can pop in at a moments notice and enjoy fantastic food. Puratasca would be on my list, but it's too late! The excellent reviews are well deserved; the mushroom risotto is as good as people say, and much more. This restaurant takes its food seriously and... More

We dropped in last night as it was near the hotel. It's a little off the beaten track in Triana but the food is good and the owner is serving his own creative take on tapas ( deep fried chorizo lollipops with curry mayonnaise for example). Decor more modern than classical style but there was a good atmosphere. Deserves to... More

I took my partner who does not like the tapas format, based on trip advisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful with the menu. We had 5 dishes between us and we're completely full. They are large sharing portions for two. They were very tasty and well presented. The wild mushroom risotto was delicious as... More

This is a great little place. We were a group of 6 and wanted to sit outside. The staff quickly rearranged tables to accomodate. The neighborhood is very residentiak so there was zero car traffic throughout our meal. If the evening is pleasant, definitely sit outside. We just ordered a bit of everything and everything pleased. The servings are small... More

The restaurant was highly recommended by friends. Since it is not located in the city center we took a cab (8 euro). The setting of the restaurant is daunting but you will loose sight of that as soon as you are welcomed by the friendly staff. The use of the I-pad to show the different dishes was very helpful. Each... More

Having now lived in Seville for two years and having tried many of the bars and restaurants there I think I can safely say nowhere has outclassed Puratasca. This is a fantastic restaurant that has never disappointed me. The food is modern and original, sometime takes on Spanish classics, sometimes completely different from anything you'd expect from a tapas bar.... More

The best meal I ate in Seville, Puratasca may not look like much - it could be a cafe under a block of flats almost anywhere in Europe - but delivers much more than your average tapas. There is a small amount of seating inside and plenty out. The wine list is concise and well chosen and the waitstaff are... More

This little casual unassuming restaurant served us some of the most beautiful food we have eaten in Seville. It steps outside the box and creates unique and extremely tasty food. In a quiet residential street it isn't easy to find. The crowd is local and the service is friendly albeit if you don't have a Spanish translator on your phone... More

Puratasca was recommended by our hotel. It is away from the main tourist sites in a residential area at the far side of Triana, but well worth making the trip. The food was excellent and friendly service. Menu is in Spanish but there is an iPad with pictures of the food to help with translation. We had cured tuna served... More

The little restaurant is surrounded by tall apartment buildings with a forest of TV antennas and parked cars, but the food was the best in our three weeks in France and Spain. The Salmorejo de fresa was the best soup in memory (in spite of having strawberries and fresh ?anchovies!! !). The tartare of tuna atop an avocado blend melted... More
