We reserved our table in advance by phone, and on arrival, we were advised that the restaurant wasn't quite ready yet, but we could have a drink downstairs while we waited. This was a nice gesture, and they soon took us upstairs to our table. The dining room was well laid out with a good table presentation. We were looked... More

The restaurant is at the heart of historical Zaragoza. The restaurant itself is also historic (dates back to 1825). It is a two story restaurant with a bar and outside tables. Tapas are served at the bar and outside. The room upstairs with its 19th century ambience is more atmospheric. We had wine and tapas at the bar. Tapas are... More

A wide variety of small dishes which we shared between 3 people. Quite expensive but good quality food. The wine was excellent.

I was in Barcelona for a few days and ate at some highly rated restaurants but none compare with Casa Lac. My wife and I shared three dishes: --an appetizer, artichokes with ham --two main dishes, chicken Aragon style, and venison and ham meat balls All the dishes were absolutely delicious. We ordered sangria and it was the best I... More

When you walk into this place, it's a bit like stepping into a cafe from 1920, and a good place to drink a glass of wine while waiting for a table upstairs. A good selection of Aragonese wines, and we did well -- notably with Sed, "a wine from the desert," or so said the label. Upstairs continues the same... More

On a hot summer night (no, this isn't the Meat Loaf song ;-) we had diner in this the restaurant on the first floor (not the tapas place on the ground floor). Recommended by our lonely planet guide, we made our reservation during our walk through old Zaragoza in the afternoon. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! One... More

Located at the corner to the restaurants area. Kitchen is behind the bar, after glass wall do you can easily 👀 everything... Also cooks and their reaction on what you have been served. We made them happy with so simple dish: tomato with onion and garlic. Superb!

The restaurant is in the centre of the old town and surrounded by other places offering the same old, same old range of tapas. Not here every dish was different to any we had ever seen. WE had a trio of seasonal dishes, all delicate and delicious: the stand out was courgette in a mille-feuille like pastry

Foie gras tapa with sauteed apples is not to be missed! Also wonderful was the vegetable tapas sampler. May not sound like much but the onions stewed in chardonay, the smoked peppers, and the fried chard was amazing. Best tapas I had in spain. Took my 9 year old kids and they loved it too!
