Wow, so many reviews praising the cheesecake. Well, I admit that it is different, but just reviewing that single item, I have to say that, for me and my wife, it was less than average. However, I do recommend that you go and try taste...More

La Vina serves up some great tapas, but most importantly it serves the famous La Vina cheesecake. I tried baking the recipe for the cheesecake I found online, but it doesn’t compare to their own. Very busy, but worth the wait, good atmosphere and friendly...More

Again we were taken here on our tour of San Sebastián- and the cheesecake was epic - just wow!! A must try when in San Sebastián - also a cheeky glass of Pedro Jimenez Sherry will go down a treat with the cheesecake!! 👍

We went specifically for the cheesecake and it was very good. Not the best in the world but quite good and worth a try if you are craving a sweet.

We ate in the inner restaurant, not the tapas bar. The anchovie cream cone was interesting as well as good. My Gambas a la Plancha were excellent but had no side dish. The Entrecote with mushroom sauce was very tasty but the meat had a...More

I'm not sure what it is with European cheesecake. This is purported to be the best in town but for my palate it does not come close to Eileen's in NYC. It's in the top tier of what we have tried in European countries this...More

Well worth holding back on eating too much of San Sebastian's Pintxos and keeping a little room for this cheesecake. Baked fresh daily, it's what they do best.

A FOODIE MUST for those wandering Old Town seeking to finish a delicious, creative selection of tapas (pintxos) w to-die-for cheesecake

This came highly recommended so maybe my expectations were high. It was a simple cheesecake which was rather mild. Not heavily cheesy nor sweet. It was good but I think I was expecting more. It is a must try in San Sebastián just don’t think...More

What can I say...it is all about the cheesecake. Best I have ever had and nothing comes close. We had to end each evening with a late night stop at La Vina. You cannot visit San Sebastián without experiencing. Don’t plan on sitting. Just find...More

I'm sorry but I didn't inquire however one slice is more than enough for two people as it's so rich and filling.

We were there during a very busy service and there were about 10 cakes sitting on the counter with more coming out the oven. I doubt you need to order ahead. The cakes are like custard consistency in the centre, with a... More
