All the dishes were tasteful and fit together. Service was friendly and professional. The big and only minus was the bread, which was super boring and cold.

We visited this restaurant during our stay in Donostia-San Sebastián and it was a treat for my wife' birthday. The restaurant a 4 km distance from the City Center but as it was a mild evening, we strolled at our leisure to it. Bear in...More

What can you write about a three-star restaurant that is like an institution? A total experience. We booked late and the restaurant was of course fully booked, but we were offered a table in the kitchen which was even better since we could see the...More

We made this our top target restaurant in San Sebastian and it didn't disappoint. Excellently crafted and constructed dishes on a well balanced tasting menu. The staff were also extremely professional and friendly with us and were keen to explain the dishes. The Dark Chocolate...More

Each dish was delicious. Creative, tasty and beautifully presented. Everything you would expect from a 3 star Michelin restaurant. The wine recommendations were also spot on. The service was more informal and less gimmicky than most of the other Michelin starred restaurants I have dined...More

As this is not only a 3 Michelin star restaurant but also in the Top 50 in the world I was expecting to have had my mind (and taste buds) blown but unfortunately not so . Don't get me wrong this is a very good...More

While leaving for years in in San Sebastian, I always wanted to visit a three-star restaurant. Yes, it is expensive, and yes, it could even be hard to book during the peak season, but I think it is worth of a try, at least once...More

We had very high hopes for Arzak - with 3 Michelin stars and a lunch bill for two of over 600 Euro's, who wouldn't - but I am sad to say that our expectations were not really met. We had the tasting menu. It wasn't...More

Fantastic dinner at Arzak. Innovative food combinations and a real sense of local influence in all the dishes. We were a group of 4 and so despite lack of wine pairing option, the sommelier constructed a series of stunning local wines (inexpensive!) to accompany the...More

Hi, Gisela, In Spain, a tip is already added to the bill, but if you get exceptional service, a small tip would certainly be appreciated. And Arzak definitely had exceptional service for us! Enjoy!

Ordering was a bit complicated as we didn't understand the "sharing" concept they were explaining. They split all the dishes so we each got to taste all we ordered. We spent about €300 on the a la carte meal.
