When you cook (and charge) at this level, you need to be judged similarly. So when you notify the restaurant three times in advance of specific allergies, you don't expect the maitre d' to ask again 'do you have any allergies?' 'Hmm, I'll have to work out a different menu for you'. Which they hadn't done in advance, though he... More

The attention to detail in this amazing restaurant was truly amazing. They took extremely good care with my rather annoying allergy to bi-valves and provided a tasting menu of the highest order. Genuinely couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Special mention should go to the sommelier who guided us through the wine list without just pointing to the most expensive... More

Excellent Resturant if it doesn't have 100 stars, it should. Father and daughter ( owners) have made their place and eating experience. One of a kind.

It was our second time at Arzak: good local food and wines. The staff is professional and the Arzak family talk with all tables: they are close amd attentive. Good fishes, delicious vegetables and spectacular meat. Flavourful deserts.

The presentation was as artistic as could be, the products of the highest quality, the wines we chose were reasonable, tasty and went well with the food. try the local txacoli if you do not know it. The gallician Ribeira sacra 2011 Lacima... More

3 of us had the prix fixe tasting menu at Arzak. The food was excellent and service was attentive. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Not cheap.

My husband and I dined here during our trip to San Sebastián in September 2016. We really enjoyed the food and wine pairings. However, we were disappointed the service was all directed towards one table. The overall food experience was good, despite the service.

very pleasant experience, this was the first time I have had a 3 michelin star meal and every dish was fantastic, the atmosphere wasn't fantastic as the tend to put non spanish customers all together in one room, also the sommelier didn't look impressed when we didnt want to spend a fortune on a bottle of wine

The past reviews really say it all. GO! Some people say that restaurants like this are way too pricey. Well, we say, if you see the level of commitment, the friendliness of the staff and the amount of staff, you would understand the costs involved in running a place like this. Treat yourself just once, the memory will last forever.... More
