This was our second time here, besides having amazing food they also have an amazing staff, they are so kind and thoughtful. It's so nice to eat at a restaurant and to actually meet the chef, too many restaurants these day don't even have the chef on site cooking. Absolutely love this restaurant

One of the best restaurant for sure! And very cheap for a 3 star, they do offer half portions of all the menu so you can effectively get 4 courses plus all the canapés for around £120 Euro a head which is fantastic value! The stand out dishes were the sole with beetroot, monkfish and lobster were all up there... More

Obviously, this place is good. Very good. However, if you're going here, you're going to drop 300 euros in the center of the all-stars of the worlds best restaurants, so you need to rate the place against that group of competitors. In comparison to the other places I've been in the Basque country at that level (Mugaritz, Etxebarri, a few... More

Exceptional service from the moment you step into the restaurant until you leave. They encourage you to go for the tasting menu which comes with a lot of wow factor with the presentation of every dish, however after the 3rd or 4th course you stop remembering what you had as there are so many competing flavors targeting your pallet. I... More

We returned to Arzak in December 2016 after our first meal there in May. This time as a couple without our teenager (though she throughly enjoyed her meal here). The service was brilliant. When the head waiter heard that we went a few months ago, he changed everything on the tasting menu so that there were no repeats. Elena Arzak... More

I traveled to San Sebastian simply for the food and Arzak was high on my radar to enjoy. Lets get the negative out of the way first, it simply was underwhelming for a 3 Michelin starred restaurant, normally during a tasting menu there are courses that make you go wow, just not this time. On the good side, the service... More

It is with great disappointment that I feel the need to write this review. With all due respect to those that have given 5 star reviews to Arzak, they have no idea what they are talking about. I had ignored the low reviews prior to booking because i thought over a thousand people could not be wrong. I was wrong.... More

I'm glad I tried Arzak but I was a little disappointed after the meal. I have been to several other restaurants on "The List" but this one was not up to snuff. The food was good, but nothing really sang to me. The service was wonderful though, and I really love that Arzak is headed by a female chef!
