One of the better restaurants in San Sebastian, and in such a culinary city this is a reference. Got new owners last year. Excellent reception, good wines, very good food. We were a family with 4 children aged 11-16, families are certainly wellcome here!

During our stay in San Sebastián we had two meals at Urepel and enjoyed them both. We ate off the fixed prece menu (28 Euros) both times and were very satisfied. The staff are friendly and service was good. We enjoyed the gazpacho, fish soup, veal cheeks, confit of duck and excellent desserts. The food is well presented local fare... More

Our concierge at the Maria Cristina hotel suggested we go there for dinner . We were extremely pleased and satisfied with our entire dining experience. Service was impeccable , tasting menu was great value at 42 Euros per person, a few euros more than a la carte. The half bottle of red wine Remelluri reservation 2009 was outstanding and well... We visited on Monday night and were so impressed with food and service we booked again for Wednesday night. The quality was the same both evenings - food was excellent and the service very friendly and professional. The dishes are of Michelin Star quality and taste is superb. We will come here again when in town.

You know something is wrong with this place from the moment the host at restaurant La Muralla offers to WALK YOU OVER to another "better" restaurant called Urepel. For a "better" restaurant, it's a pretty big red flag that it is half empty and filled with american tourists. At this point you begin to wonder if the other guests were... More

Like many other reviewers we were brought here, along with two other couples, because the sister restaurant La Muralla was full. I can only say we were delighted with the result. Lovely old restaurant, good service, excellent food and great value for 28 euro menu. Can't really go wrong.

We ate here last night as we were unable to get a table in La Murallo and Urepel apparently has the same owner. We both had the tasting menu but chose different meat dishes. The quality of the food was excellent and very good value and the service was attentive.

What an excellent meal in a beautiful setting - one of the oldest restaurants in San Sebastain. Small elegant setting right at the river and close to the old town. Experienced a very affordable 3 course meal with an awesome salad, pork entree and the best dessert I've had in years - it included peach ice cream. My spouse loved... More

On entry, we were greeted by a friendly lady - presumably, the owner's partner, and showed to our table, The surroundings were very pleasant and the waiter extremely friendly, if not totally realxed. I had a superb meal and would easily have given it 5 stars. However, my partner unfortunately, had a different experience. She ordered "medium" steak (a chateaubriand... More
