We had dinner twice and it was absolute amazing. We were a group of 8 and tasted almost the whole menu including deserts ! Service, food, music and ambiance was unbeatable. and we hope to be there soon !

We had our tastiest and most enjoyable dinner in Palma at the Beatnik, in big part thanks to our waiter Adrián, who did an excellent job recommending dishes and drinks. The tempura spicy prawns were crispy, juicy and just the right amount of spicy. The miniburgers (sliders) were probably some of the best we’ve had in a very long time. As for the main dishes, we had the sea bass with shrimp risotto and the entrecote. The entrecote was particularly delicious, a generous serving of fine meat with tasty fries. As for the wine, order the strong Majorcan one, delicious. Thank you Beatnik!

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here. The food was amazing. We had the mixed beets, BBQ beef short rib, and buttered chicken - we couldn’t fault anything if these dishes. Fairly upmarket place, comfortable and good ambience. It was a little dark for me but I’m not complaining - a great experience.

We first visited Beatnik in 2019 and it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately 2nd time we were disappointed. We arrived early to have a drink on the rooftop terrace
Which is very pretty, comfy sofas and lots of palm plants and a small plunge pool.
We went down to be shown to our table, the couple next to us asked to be moved as they were cold as the air conditioning was blowing very cold over our tables.
We chose 3 starters to share, TNT prawns, chicken lollipops and a pork dish, we asked for these to all come together as we had on our 1st visit but the waiter said it was not possible as they had a busy night although when we looked around it wasn’t busy at all. Our starters came one by one which were very nice but took an hour for the 3rd dish to come to the table. By this time we were really feeling the cold from the air conditioning as were 2 other tables who sat near by, so much so one of the couples put on their jacket’s, I asked the waiter 3 times if he could turn it down he said he would but never did. Our final dish came, a steak rib to share, but it was pork, very tasty but not the beef we had ordered.
We had booked this restaurant as our last night in Palma as something to look forward to but unfortunately we’re left disappointed especially as there was a table of 12 very rowdy men 2 tables away shouting and swearing the whole time we were there, this totally ruined the ambiance and experience we expected.

Great food and excellent service from Adrian in a hip and comfortable setting. The TNT Prawns (something akin to buffalo shrimp if you’re American) served in a copper martini glass was amazing. For the main, we both had the 36h braised beef short rib (asian flavor profile) was fall off the bone tender, paired with a bottle of Miraval Cote de Provence rosé. Adrian was convivial and attentive, a really great server. Will always come back to Beatnik whenever we’re in Palma. Highly recommended!

Superb food, cocktails and ambience. You need to book for the indoor restaurant and you’ll be seated outside if available surrounded by the charm of a historic patio, pale lights and chilling music. There’s a rich variety of dishes, but the tuna flatbread is my top, together with the duckling cocktail. Loved it and will definitely return!

Lovely people, lovely food and such a great place with patio and rooftop to overlook the city before or after eating. Saturday very yummie brunch with yoga. My favorite dish is the tuna sashimi bread and the Lubina and we’ll also the cesar salad and the tnt prawns and the meat ...

the restaurants offers a menu with a huge variety:
vegan, glutenfree, light food & heavy food options.
the dishes are special and delicious.

Went for dîner a week ago with my husband. Beatnik is one of my fav place in Palma. To summarize Great & tasty food , good sound, and nice place to enjoy. I would recommend you to try the Leon’s ceviche and the butter chicken with truffle and Parmesan fries ! Cocktails are also great and you should try « la passion » which is a creamy one and would be particularly enjoyed by women.
Nevertheless, I would spot 2 points of improvement which have impacted negatively my last visit. The greeting person (blond girl) does not provide a proper service to guests, being too directive and almost rude when you are told to wait for her to finish her discussion with other people.
Also, please do not sit people outside the restaurant without being sure that they will stand the heat. I came with a little dog and my husband who are very sensitive to heat and they couldn’t breath and did not enjoy the meal due to high temperature. This should be agreed with customer prior to book a reservation at least mentioned somewhere that you are not sure to seat inside the restaurant.
I would like to adress a special thank to the main waiter (dressed in black and wore a face mask ) who is providing a great service and knows his job perfectly. By his constant care he finally made me to rate this experience as excellent ! Hope to be back and visit you soon !

Regarding table seating, our hostess always suggests to the customer whether they prefer to be inside or outside. In the future, I recommend that you especify the table preference commentary in your reservation, so that when you arrive we will already know your preference and will do our best to give you a pleasant table for you, your husband and your little dog.

The music was good but the margherita pizza was the worst I’ve ever had. It was like a jar of tomato sauce had been used and then blobs of cheese and that was it. The first was cold and the second was not much warmer. When I complained they asked if I was staying in the hotel which I wasn’t, they then just presented me with the bill if €17. Awful compared to other places we’ve been too! Wouldn’t go there again.

We truly appreciate your unique perspective on your recent visit and your vivid description of our Margherita pizza.
Your note that the first pizza was cold and the second not much warmer, however, raises a fascinating question: If the first pizza was truly as unpalatable as you describe, it's almost admirable that you even opted for a second one.
If I recall correctly, several slices were consumed from both pizzas. This, coupled with your choice to order the same pizza once again, reinforces the rationale behind our decision not to waive the associated cost.
With this review, you are simply expressing your personal taste preferences and not in the slightest addressing the quality of our food, service, or ambiance. Therefore, I kindly request you to consider removing this review, as it does not remotely reflect our competence.
While our fusion cuisine might not align with everyone's tastes, especially for those accustomed to the comforts of traditional Italian pizza, please know that we understand and respect diverse preferences.

Great, lively bar and restaurant in the centre of Palma old town. Lovely decor and good vibes, with DJ on a Saturday night.
Our food was mostly excellent - can throughly recommend the TNT prawns and beef short rib which I’m still thinking about! Tacos were also good, unfortunately my husbands steak was over cooked.
Service was a little hit and miss, I think they were overwhelmed by a couple of larger parties who were very very loud and we had to ask to move. But the waiter apologised afterwards and they were all really friendly.
Would recommend particularly for an upbeat Saturday night vibe.

I recently visited the restaurant as part of my stay at the Puro Hotel. The restaurant had a lovely decor, very nice and clean. However the failed to meet the dietary requirements of my husband. He wanted to order the steak but due to his type 1 diabetes he did not want the deep friend chips and requested to have sautéed potatoes which is on the menu as a side dish with the octopus main. We asked one waitress when ordering as she told us it was not possible and only gave us a choice of sweet potato which he does not like. We asked another waitress incase of language barrier and were told the same thing he cannot have the sautéed potato's and can only switch to sweet potato's. This resulted in my husband eating elsewhere whilst I enjoyed the seafood risotto. The risotto was lovely by the way as was the house white wine. Just a shame the restaurant can't accommodate a simple potato switch. It's not like they didn't offer sautéed potato's as a side with their mains so I can't understand why the simple request was declined.

Spending a night in Palma after having stayed in Port de Soller for a week, we were looking for a nice restaurant. Browsing through TA we chose Beatnik and were quickly able to find a table using TA + TheFork (recommended). At first we were well received and the first courses came fairly quick. However, as the evening progressed, service took much longer time. When our mains arrived, I asked for another glass of whine but it arrived as I had finished the dish. The mini burgers were tasty as well as the ceviche. The chicken was dry. We left with a feeling of disappointment.

My husband and I took our two children for a meal on Friday. The first night of opening after lockdown!
I just want to say how much of an amazing job the staff have done. They were very welcoming and we felt totally safe with all the measures they had in place.
The food was delicious, especially the prawns from the starters and the wine choice was excellent.
Will definitely be booking here again before we return home!

I first visited Beatnik in 2019 and was totally wowed! My second visit last night was even better. We sat outside in the courtyard and it was a lovely setting with amazing food. We had the strawberry and avocado salad and tuna sashimi flatbread to start and it set the tastebuds alive. Followed this with the beef short rib and miso cod - all beautifully presented and delicious. Fantastic service from our friendly waiter this place is a must visit. Will definitely return every time I visit Palma!
