A great evening in an absolute perfect atmosphere and with a delicious dinner. There is nothing to complain about. Perfect use of spices and herbs, mixed with fresh ingredients and the taste of Mallorquina and Balearic food, presented on Michelin Star level. Our expectations have been exceeded! Personally seen a must to go there if you are in Palma. The host, the waiters and the Maître are absolutely attentive, helpful and keen. Explaining all the details of the dishes helps you to enjoy the food. The personal welcome of the Chef is outstanding and most welcome. We ate there the most probably best Empanada by the way . At the end of your journey thru the Balearic dishes you get your personal menu card. The ambiance is also fantastic, the style modern design. We strongly recommend the visit of this place.

We had dinner in the rooftop "a la carte" section, which is more casual (and cheaper) than the main restaurant. The setting is magnificent, particularly on a warm evening The starters were excellent - but the main course were "run of the mill", and the service was slow. (And it took 30 minutes for the taxi that the restaurant booked to show up).
Certainly worth a visit.

This is the best dining experience we've had in Mallorca, not only the food is fantastic but also the service, the love and passion they put in to every thing they do.
We had a table at the bar and Santi explained himself every dish and the history about it.

Fine dining restaurant but feels like a hostel dinner. All tables sits at the same time and is severed at the same time. You feel pressured to eat at pace of the rest of the tables. The wine pairing is not the best selection and the main server keeps emphasizing that the wine is specially made for them… terrible wine selection. If you select snails they bring it before the last course which does not make sense. The snails are chopped up with onions and mushrooms. So it is def not snails. The servers are inexperienced and keeps pretending that it is the best. Just not worth it

Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at “Dins Santi Taura”.
We are sorry that it was not entirely satisfactory, but we would like to clarify your description of the dinner.
"Dins Santi Taura" it’s a small restaurant, with a limited number of daily guests and with a very high “table requests”. We convene customers at two specific times for the proper functioning of the menu and to be able to serve them in a comfortable and fluid manner, without interruptions and with a constant service time.
We understand that most restaurants operate differently from ours, but with this system we achieve greater regularity in service and our staff in charge of the restaurant obtain fairer working conditions. You already arrived 20 minutes after your reservation without any prior notice of your delay.
The selection of wines wants to illustrate the wine scene of the Balearic Islands, we are sorry that it was not to your liking, and you did not know how to appreciate the uniqueness of our island’s wines, for that reason we also have a wine list with more than 450 international labels.
As for the “extra course” that you wanted to add to your menu, we always served at the end of the savoury part of our “Menu Origins” and obviously before the sweets.
I want to remind you that your description of the “Snails at Mallorcan style” is incorrect because as they do not contain mushrooms or are served chopped and we are sorry that you did not understand our proposal for historical cuisine and traditional recipes.

Excellent 11 course tasting menu with many really delicious and interesting courses. All courses were small so I felt full but not overstuffed by the end of the evening. The staff are very friendly and I particularly liked that Santi Taura came to our table to welcome us to the restaurant. Definitely worth booking a table here for a special occasion or just a fantastic dinner!!

I had dinner last Thursday at this fantastic restaurant with a great chef and splendid personnel. We were offered a great menu in which all elements of this region came to blossom. Sobrassada, soup, rock fish, prawn risotto, baked apple but especially the Mallorcan cerdo negro suckling duck were all just fantastic. If you have the chance, make the reservation. It is worth it. It should have 6 balls at Trip Advisor!

This was my second surprise for my birthday week and wow what a surprise it was, absolutley loved it, we sat at Chef's table and Chef Santi Taura was so charming, he explained every dish with great detail and passion, we loved every course and felt his passion with every mouthfull. We would like to thank all the staff for looking after us so well and for helping me celebrate my birthday week in spectacular style. If we ever get back to Palma we will definitely be calling back to see you all. Two regrets, we should have tried the goat, it looked amazing and we didn't get a photo with you Santi, maybe next time xx

We had the pleasure to taste the eleven course menu at DINS Santi Taura. All courses are traditional majorcan dishes served either in the classic style or interpreted in a modern way, while always keeping original ingredients. The courses have all been of high quality and were well balanced in terms of taste. One of our favorites were the meat ball with the pulpo (excellent quality of both, nicely seasoned)and the fantastic suckling pig. A recommended highlight is also the cheese plate (optional course).
The service team is very attentive and friendly, completing a very enjoyable atmosphere. The wine list is quite large and provides as well the possibility to go for some nice international wines.
The culinary journey absolutely fulfilled our expectations for a one-star Michelin restaurant.

We did it again, yes…. – and we did not get disappointed… - again, yes. What a great restaurant, what a great Maitre. We got a very warm welcome from him in the beginning. He explained his concept and the dishes and we appreciated this kind of welcoming your guests very much. Having Mallorquina dinner on this level is different and we really loved it. Empanada with monkfish – really different, the usage of Sobrasada on crispy bread – creative, different, tasty. Pork belly in a delicious gravy – excellent. These traditional dishes of Mallorca are interpreted in an excellent and outstanding manner. We strongly recommend this restaurant for sure!

We visited here whilst on holiday nearby as it was the only starred restaurant we could get a reservation for at short notice, and what a great decision.
Superb tasting menu, carefully thought out to provide modern interpretations of classic Mallorcan dishes.
We took the accompanying wine flight which contained some very unusual and interesting choices which were paired perfectly to the food.
All delivered with outstanding service.
Will not be surprised if this ends up as a two star restaurant.
Would certainly recommend.

So creative and so welcoming - our dinner at Dins started with an early arrival which allowed us to enjoy a cocktail on the hotel rooftop bar. Just a spectacular setting for the evening. When our table was ready, we walked downstairs to the restaurant. We were escorted to our table, and the exceptional food and wines began. Our meal was creative and delicious- we added a few of the dinner options to the menu. The chef came out and chatted with us at the end of the meal, sincerely interested in our experience and judgement. I cannot recommend Dins enough for anyone interested in local, but creative, food in Palma. Truly a joy of an evening.

From time to time we usually go to try Michelin restaurants to treat ourselves and try more innovative cuisine... in this case, except desserts and a dish, there were no big surprises. The menu they offer has 11 dishes and they let you add some more off the menu...). We added the whole sobrasada and it was a success... the best dish of the night... the rest... because they were not bad, but they also did not stand out. Some dishes were a “ridiculous” portion of small (a tiny kibble or a half-shared patty between two...).
The service was quite good, taking care of the detail at all times, but the waiting times between courses were exaggerated on several occasions... we were having dinner 3 hours!!!! I think it could be speeded up a bit as it was going well at first, but towards the end the waiting times were around 20 minutes.... Too much.

This was the perfect choice for a 50th birthday celebration. We were lucky enough to reserve a spot at the chefs counter, where we were able to see first hand our delicious dishes coming to life. They were incredibly well thought out and presented. The wine flight was a perfect pairing to the dishes. Santi Taura presented each dish and we loved the personal stories that accompanied them. Thank you for a fabulous evening!

This was my favorite restaurant during our stay in Palma. We sat at the “chef’s table”, where we met chef, Santi Taura. What an amazing experience as I felt we were personally invited into his home. A story was told with each dish served. The chef’s love of food comes through with each bite. I cannot express in words how incredibly special this experience was. Any trip to Palma would be incomplete without a visit to this exquisite restaurant.
