Contemporary-style garnished nigiri sushi of mind-blowing quality! As a well-travelled sushi and kaiseki lover, I can tell you that the rice was of perfect density, texture and sweetness, the fish slices perfectly cut and all melted in the mouth, while the garnish was natural, elegant and not overwhelming. The sushi of such high level at this affordable price have never been seen on the island before. Absolute must! And let’s hope they keep up the good work ;)

Th degustation menu was just perfect, the flavour connect between each dishes and create a whole flavour in your mouth! The service is also remarkable, all the waiters know perfectly the Japanese culture and can bring you for a taste trip.
Thanks to the both chef and all the team of Kaizen.

We had such a great dinner at Kaizen, the food was amazing and service was great. Our waiter Ismael was attentive without being intrusive and he made some great menu recommendations. We ate off the a la carts and found the cost of the meal very reasonable (compared to London) for the quality of food we enjoyed. Particular highlights were the Hereford beef short rib brioche and the salmon tartare with miso yuzu, both were really delicious.

We found this restaurant strolling through the centre of Palma and we’re surprised by how amazing it was. Best sushi we have had in a while. All the flavours were perfectly matched and the service was very attentive. The ambiance in the restaurant is also very well balanced and the food came out the perfect speed. Highly recommend !

So many great reviews ? Why?? As someone who has been to 7 of Mallorcas 11 michelin starred restaurants and travels for food and who's son works at a michelin star restaurant in London I found this place to be awful. We were sat by the front door, no atmosphere, cold food for the hot dishes even after complaining early on, way too much truffle in every dish, average service and dozens of people walking past us at the entrance, half of which left with no reservation and were cussing next to our table. We left half way through the Omikase menu. Really really disappointing meal, was looking forward to this but honestly can say you would have a much better Japanese at Wasabi or you run of the mill sushi place. Avoid the hype, very average.

One of the best Japanese meals my wife and I have ever eaten. Sashimi was not just extremely fresh, but, in the case of the tuna belly, sustainably sourced and showing the distinctive brick red colour of the very best flesh. Nigiri were top quality, and sushi rolls, several of which we tried, were inventive, delicious variants on traditional maki. Chef Ismael Rojo is from Galicia and his knowledge and love of all things seaborn really shows. Don’t be fooled by the understated decor and the chef’s modest manner: this is a brilliant restaurant and well worth making a detour to enjoy!

We came here for a dinner on a Friday night and, under our server's suggestion, opted for the 9 course Omakase with the wine pairings - and we're so glad we did!
There was no indication of what each dish or course would be, but our server checked about allergies beforehand to make sure everything would be suitable,and each dish was well explained when it came.
All of the dishes were so flavoursome and beautifully presented - one of our favourites was the tuna sashimi with a honey dressing presented as a little rose.
The wine pairings were varied and all complimented the dishes so well, and were well explained by the friendly and knowledge sommelier.
We came in for a 10pm booking but didn’t feel rushed at all between courses by staff, everything was very well paced.
We would definitely recommend a visit to Kaizen - if you're up for a treat opt for the one of the Omakase menus, but if you're after something more relaxed; the a la carte food we saw being brought out also looked stunning.

Definitely the best sushi I’ve eaten so far.
I’m a super fan of Japanese cuisine and especially sushi and I must say Kaizen never disappointed every time I went .
At every bite you can tell how fresh the products are and definitely the talented chef Ismael add his passion and love resulting into an explosion of senses and tastiness .
The whole experience leaves you with no words , so when in Palma this is place you can’t miss .

OH MY GOD. This place just blew my mind… and I must say I am very particular when it comes to sushi as I tasted so many types all my life… It’s the first time I struggle in writing a review as there is literally not enough words to explain the amazing experience we had, but maybe saying that we have been twice in the last 4 days is a good start. The service was outstanding as well as the variety of flavours from the beginning to the end. Our friends had the “Zen” menu, 5 steps including a variety of starters, the shabu shabu and dessert. I personally went for a tasting of sushi and would do it again as it has been the BEST I had in my life. I could keep going but you just need to go and try it yourself. The fresh quality and combination of ingredients were just WOW. Special thanks to Ismael and Martina for making us feel special, we will definitely be back and sharing with all our friends so they can experience what we did tonight. See you soon!
PS. The cheesecake is not be missed!

Wow! We went to Kaizen having done very little research but looking to switch things up after 2.5 weeks of tapas for lunch and dinner 😅 it beyond exceeded expectations. There was not a SINGLE bad bite. We did the 6 course omakase experience and felt like it was generous portions, great variety, and such amazing quality. Some of our favorite bites from the entire trip included the cauliflower and shiitake dumplings and the brioche with bluefin tuna- but honestly, it was all fantastic. I wish we had Kaizen back in the states, we’d undoubtedly be regulars.
Be sure to make a reservation! We saw SEVERAL walk ins throughout the night get turned away just because they get super booked.

We book the restaurant as the reviews were so good.
Decided to take the 6 tasting Omakase.
It was very nice. All the platea were special and tasty.
A little attention need to be improved as we has a broken glass , a dirty spoon and they haedo y arrived back after the second time we indicated.
The nigiri had too much rice ( if you mean real Japanese food) but the taste was real y great.
More attention also in the bill. We realised afterwords that han bolles one more water bottle than received.
Nice wine advice by the sommelier.
A little slow the sequence.
I would’n consider as stated non trip advisor ££-£££ but ££££.
Not sure if the tasting menu Made the price different.
Will come back for sure, probably to try the carte option

Their omakase menu is so well priced at €65 for 9!!!! Courses and one of them was 4 large nigiri, to say I left there stuffed was an understatement. The dessert was phenomenal as well! The staff were great and they have a sommelier if you’re into that! SO GOOD! Must go if you’re a sushi lover. The area was really cool around it too.

We tried the 9 course taster menu and it was absolutely delicious. Never tasted food like it. Great service - the waiter described every dish and made sure we had drinks.
I would definitely recommend to anyone. Great price for the quality of food.

We had the tasting menu. It was fantastic. They accommodated my lactose intolerance. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a real dining experience. Not fast food. We had unusual offerings. Not strictly Japanese more a combination of Japan and Mallorca. The Iberian pork on a swirl of whipped parsnip for example. I have never had anything like this. We did have some wonderful nigiri as well. All the fish was fresh and so tasty. Even the dessert a brownie sitting on beautiful lychee sauce was delicious.

Absolutely exceptional sushi and the restaurant. My bf and I agreed that was probably the best sushi we have ever eaten though we are both experienced. Beef tartar was just a masterpiece. Each sushi is an art and very independent taste. Just delicious.
The service is great as well.
We visited the restaurant twice during our stay on Majorca and probably will come back again just to visit the restaurant again 🤩
