I think that we had an ice cream every day during our recent 7 day holiday in Palma. We only came across this Gelateria on the last day of our holiday which if we had come across it earlier I'm sure that we would have visited it more than once. They have a great range of flavours to choose from.

Spanish ice cream tend to be over saturated and containing too much sugar. This is not the case with this ice cream shop. Subtle taste which is very pleasant and creamy. Very well done.

... from the reviews. Just a shop front selling only ice cream. Excellent ice cream though and very friendly service. Our boys had passion fruit and coconut - both very happy. Excellent value and would return although there seemed to be many similar establishments nearby with equal or better choice.

We are very pleased too read you and your boys liked our Gelato and we hope we'll see you again soon. About the flavours of Gelato we make, we choose to make 10-12 flavours a day, in our laboratory in the back of the shop, in order to use only fresh and healty ingredients avoiding industrial bases.

This place is an icecream pearl in Palma city.
Great service, with free tastings for my kids. And the taste and quality of that sorbét.... Wow.

This place is a gem! Fresh ingredients make for the best gelato. They'll let you try whatever flavor you'd like before buying-- but it's hard to choose! They even have dairy-free options (unlike most of Italy). Don't hesitate getting a treat here!

Palma de Mallorca is a touristic destination with a charming old city center, In this center one can find about ten ice cream vendors. One of them even won an award at the worldchampionships not so long ago. So, you have to offer really excellent ice cream to survive there.
I´ve visited several of those ice cream places and did not have a favorite. Until today! I was strolling down carrer del sindicat, with a cup of ice cream in my hand, when I passed "Dulce Italia". The sales girl and I exchanged glances and soon we were discussing the ice cream in my cup and those in her display. Since I couldn´t make a fair comparison before tasting her ice cream, I decided to buy a cup with coconut and hazelnut ice cream, I was very, very impressed! Hands down the best coconut ice cream I have ever tasted!!
Since I live in Palma de Mallorca, it goes without saying that I will return there to taste the other flavours.

I am usually a big ice cream eater on holiday anyway, but after finding this we had to walk by at least once a day.
The flavours are all good and the service is so friendly.
Just as well we were only here a week, I would have been a size bigger any longer!

I discovered "Dulce Italia" by coincidence while strolling though the old town during our recent family vacation in Palma. Located not far from Plaza Mayor, a little bit off the beaten track, not "flashy" like many of the other 'over-the-top' gelaterias in town. Started talking to Giancarlo, the friendly and soft-spoken, almost shy and modest owner and co-founder. Giancarlo and Claudia came to Mallorca from Northern Italy to open their small Gelateria a couple of months ago, and everything (and I mean everything) is natural and absolutely delicious. Giancarlo and Claudia are passionate about everything they do - but don't take my word for it. Close your eyes and enjoy one of the very best ice creams EVER.

The best icecream in Palma. Well done! Mr. Giancarlo & Mss. Claudia produce homemade a wonderfull italian gelato and are nice and "on the ball".

I'm living in Palma since more than one year and just find now MY ice cream shop (of every day...we just have one life, so we enjoy all the new idea they propose).
If I can advise you a good adress to try, don't hesitate to stop if you pass by "Plaza Mayor") They are just next to The Main Square, beginning of Sindicato Street (full of shopping)
You will be welcomed by a friendly and passioned italian couple, who make every day, different and fresh flavour, with or without fresh milk of the island, & FREE OF sugar (also), colorants, hydrogenated fats & all chimical products you can imagine!
Just a good moment to enjoy an healthy product, maked with a special ingredient : "LOVE" <3 , in a good atmosphere and for a real good price.
& special attention for fans of "pistacchio" ;)
JUST ENJOY IT & HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY in Mallorca!

Best ice-cream on this island, simple as that. Possibly the best gelato I have ever had, even in Italy. Fantastic flavours and the finest commodities. The owners are the nicest Italian couple and were more than happy to talk about gelato and their excellent philosophy. We had such a good time that we went back several times a day.

I love this place! Original homemade gelati! Its a gelateria different! Delicias icecream and homemade icesticks with special flavours!!! And very lovely and friendly people!!!

there's lots of ice cream places in Palma, but none make authentic italian gelato.... Except this tiny store front place on Sindicat, the pedestrian street near placa mayor. The owners, a couple from Milan, make the gelato on site, and will take the time to explain how it's made. Try pistachio, made from Sicilian pistachios ( the best in italy...). Honestly, we went every day, and because real gelato is not made with cream, but with milk, it isnt even that fattening!
