The menus are priced at 10 and 16 Euros for a starter, main, basic dessert, drink and bread. The menus are wide ranging - especially the dearer of the two. The meat and fish are of a high quality and there are lots of typical, local dishes. The first time we went, there was a queue, so I would recommend booking. Service is brisk and efficient. A lovely little restaurant.

We found this place while we were walking through the old town. My friend wanted to try this restaurant because mainly Spanish people went to this restaurant. There was a long line so I assumed it must be good. They offer Tapas and a daily menu. The tapas are very expensive compared to other restaurants. A menu costs 16€. You can pick something like a appetizer, the main meal and a dessert. We also got a bottle of water for free. I got a salad, the cordon bleu and flan. The salad had no dressing on. On the table there is a bottle of olive oil and red balsamic vinegar. So I added a little bit of that. But It was still just ok. The cordon bleu was good but it’s a very small portion. If you’re hungry, pick something else. The fries were very greasy. I picked the flan, a Spanish caramel pudding. It was good. It was my first time to try. All together it was ok. My friend was totally happy with her meal. I guess I just picked the wrong things. That’s why I give 3 stars. The service was friendly, but they don’t really check on you if you need anything else.

Despite having booked, we had to wait a while. However, it was worth the wait. I don't really understand negative reviews. The food is delicious! In three we have chosen a few dishes to divide: -1 plate, shoulder of lamb. Really delicious! I think the best dish. Instead of fries as a side dish, we requested vegetables - 3 tapas: prawns, meatballs & patatas bravas with aioli. We were very pleased with the choice of dishes. We also had some bread (extra 2.5 euros per person) which was not homemade but slices of toast. We were not offered desserts but they proposed the bill directly as there were many people waiting in line for the table. However definitely positive experience, the food is really good and the value for money great.

Definitely the worst meal i’ve had in palma at the highest price possible and above that, i got a food intoxication. I’ve bought an entrecote a chicken breast a fish and a coffee for 85€ and about 2 potatoes split in 3 portions. The entrecote was not cooked at all and was full of blood (it wasn’t rare, it was almost raw), asked them to make it well done and it was the worst experience i’ve had in the whole vacation. The next day i felt really sick and vomited. It’s worse than the worst kebap you have ever eaten at the price of 5 stars restaurants. It was a robbery

A typical looking place that ended up being rather disappointing. We loved the atmosphere. As you walk in, the wood and tiles on top of the bar and the porcelain plates on the walls gave the place a very typical Spanish outlook. Unfortunately when it came to food, the patatas bravas and the patatas alioli were simply plain, being able to get only an oily flavour. The spinach croquettes were also very plain. I am not sure if it was the bechamel inside or an abundance of spinach that gave them a very poor taste. We ordered a lubina (sea bass) and a paleta de cordero (lamb shoulder). The lamb shoulder was very good, tasty and juicy. The sea bass was lacking taste and the french fries seemed to be from the frozen ones. To finish, the price for a jarra de sangria (liter of sangria) was 14 euro, which is excessive considering overall Spanish prices. All in all, this seemed to be a very touristy place that unfortunately lacks the benefit of spanish cheap prices and the taste of the delicious spanish food.

Service is absolute 0. Food is eatable but rather unpleasing. The restaurant itself is old and rusty. We had a reservation and still, we had to wait on the street until they prepared a table for us. Then they seated us onto basically ikea childrens stools and a small table in the corner. The restaurant serves drinks in plastic bottles for which you also have to wait. We ordered prawns, chicken, a few tapas plates and a patatas bravas that we never got. The patatas bravas was on the invoice but we talked to the waiters and solved the problem. The toilet is nasty, the water pressure of the sink is almost inexistent. Would not reccomend, bad quality restaurant.

We live close to this restaurant, there's always a queue to eat there. As it's January we walked by and saw they had free tables so decided to find out why it's always so busy. My husband had the Pate and I had croquettas which were OK, we were also given bread with aioli which was nice. Then the main course came, my husband ordered steak which while nice, was cold. I ordered Sea Bass which was raw, still had blood in it, and was quite frankly not nice at all. The food came with chips and salad, not great I was expecting much better. The waiters were friendly enough but you could tell they want to rush you in and rush you out. When they asked how our food was, we told them and they just said 'oh sorry'. For 22 Euros per person, I don't think this place was value for money. It's a complete tourist trap, if you go to Molinar for example Bar Molinet or any of the restaurants on the same road, you'll find much more authentic Spanish food where the locals go for a friendly service, great food and a lot less money. Won't be going back.

This was by far the worst service we had received in Palma. We booked a table at 3pm but we were told for the waitress over the phone that we should go at 3.15pm just to find out that Half of the dishes were out of the menu cos the kitchen was closing soon and they had to clean the frier, The waiter was very rude. He kept telling us we couldn’t order some things, suggesting other ones just to go back inside to place our order and come back to our table to tell us they won’t be cooking it and offering something that we order before but they run out. We felt as he was taking the piss out of us. It was like that we drinks too and dessert. The food was average and the chicken was completely pink, so you could tell that everything was rushed. I can’t recommend this restaurant whatsoever. Really bad experience. Save yourself from this terrible experience.

My friends and I were looking for a last restaurant stop before we went home. Wine was lovely as well as the service dealing with my incomprehensible Spanish. However, the food was adequate or even poor. Two of my friends almost gagged and their famous fish was subpar. I would recommend it for drinks but for food, not so much. Some quotes: "My fish was a solid 7" "Are you joking? Its horrible, the oil is the only tasty part" "Mate honestly, I think you should not be serving that in a restaurant. That's about the chorizo not the fish". Kind regards, Anonymous 86231736

We ended up at this restaurant on the recommendation of the guide who shows the city with the Civitatis visit. It is a restaurant with an "old" feel located on a narrow street near the cathedral, inside it is not very big and it has terrace tables on the street. It has two daily menus, one for €13 and the other for €22. We ordered the €13 one with gazpachos, hake and stewed meat. Well cooked food, good flavor and temperature. The worst thing is the management of the terrace tables: you have to queue on your own and in turn among the customers...the restaurant does not take part in it and then they call you. Naturally, friction arises between clients. You can make a reservation. Regular and slow service. They put it as a reference for Mallorcan and Mediterranean cuisine but it is not entirely true, it is simply traditional cuisine, although I understand that focused on foreign tourism they consider it good and are delighted. It's worth knowing but it's nothing to write home about.

Visited fir dinner on our day out to vitis palma City and the cathedral. When we arrived the restaurant was empty but in less then 10min was absolutly full!! We did wait quite a while to be served as they became so busy so quickly but the service was good and ultimately the food was absolutely amazing! I had one of the best steaks here very tender and tasty. We ordered it part of a set menu which included wither a beer, bottle of red wine or water. I honestly not a fun o red wine but I was willing to try it and I do not to regret as OMG it was a really good read wine!. In a next visit to palma will definitely come back to this place loved it!

This restaurant was a perfect choise. In the menu we could choose an appetizer e.g. shrimp in butter, or fried squid rings. We also got rye bread with garlic sour cream. The beer was cheap and tasty. We choosed sea bass and sea bream fish and it was perfect! The fries were real, not mirelit. The service was fast and the waiters were nice. The place is loud and crowded with locals, but it also has a good atmosphere. You can choose from several types of desserts, which are also part of the menu. (The price of the menu is 20 euros in total)

We were lucky enough to get a table without reservations and enjoyed a great lunch. The lunch special came with a starter and entree for only 13 euros. There were several choices but the roast pork was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was very busy but very friendly. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a light lunch of very simple cooked fresh food at very reasonable prices. Set price daily menus very good value at €13/€22 for 2 course but we chose tapas..prawns, house tuna salad, patatas bravas which was all lovely. Very efficient service from a friendly and most helpful young girl( translated the menu board for us) . Lovely rioja by the glass. Very popular and I can see why!
