Four of us ate dinner here. The place has a good atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had tapas style starters which on the whole were very good and tasty. The wine we chose was excellent. However the main courses were disappointing. We found the house special steak unusual as it was covered with cheese and... More

Definitely the coziest and most atmospheric restaurant we visited in Puerto de la Cruz. Also super friendly staff, all smiles :) 5 stars for that! Our starters were very good (especially the croquettes) but the mains were just okay.

Traditional dishes cooked wonderfully, we recommend the seafood soup to start, which has all the flavour of the sea. A massive fillet steak cooked perfectly for 14 euros with a sauce feels like stealing from this great little kitchen. Its got a nice family vibe.

We came here for lunch and were delighted to enjoy a very positive experience. The atmosphere was great with plenty of locals enjoying the food. The quality of the food was excellent - we had the croquettes and squid for starters and the honey-glazed ribs and steak with a lovely rich red wine sauce. We would highly recommend each of... More

We visited this restaurant last night for dinner. The food and atmosphere were great. I had a delicious fillet steak and my partner had Sole Meunière. Both were accompanied by potatoes. The staff - who appear to be mainly family - were very helpful and pleasant. One criticism of the night is that we got rolls and dips that weren't... More

The food here was outstanding. Fillet steak with 2 pepper sauce was one of the best I have eaten. And a great price for less that 14euros! The place was busy and had a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and service was very good. Will return before we leave.

A great choice for anorexics, La Herreria serves pitifully small portions of pretty average food at prices that are higher than most restaurants in Puerto de la Cruz. There was nothing wrong with the food as such, but the portions were like starvation rations. I was told by the waitress that 'special potatoes' were included with my steak. I discovered... More

This was a lovely place; very good value. Food was typical Canarian and tasted very good. Chipirones (our starter for two) were tasty and fresh; tender, not rubbery like in some other places. My grilled rabbit was tasty and perfectly charred. My partner had an escalop which he liked. We had papas arrugadas as a side. Potatoes tasted fine, but... More
