Food and service here is very good. I had Carrilleras de Ternera (ox cheeks) which was excellent. They were served with an mousse de patatas (mashed potatoes) which was simply amazing. This humble dish is a specialty of the house and must be tried to be appreciated. As wine I had an excellent Rioja, Bodegas de Abalos for Euro 1.85... More

I've been at this restaurant quite many times for wine and pinchoes. They are ecclectic, delicious and at the same time they keep the traditional Spanish flavour. In comparison to the rest of the places in the city, they are quite expensive; two pinchoes and a couple of glasses of good wine may cost around 12€. The gastrobar is not... More

Had a great time here. Small modern decor and a high counter with an amazing selection of pintxos. They were served with a smile to a mixed local crowd who seemed happy to be there. Just around the corner from plz de Canadio , but a lot quieter.

Nice restaurant with very good Spanish food. Cod and anchovies from the cantabric sea served in a very elegant way. A bit expensive compared to the average, but the food quality is very high

At the end of my conference meeting. Wanted to taste mor of Santander Spanish food. The woman at my hotel reception recommended this place. She said her uncle enjoyed the food here. So I went. At the beginning i wanted to flee - nobody speaks english… and I don't speak Spanish. But probably everything on the menu is good, do... More

Sit by the counter for a tasty selection of pinchos, visited on New Years Eve, just walked in and a free spot by the food bar. Good quality food, great service, chalk board with menu and prices, great beer.

Really enjoyed our dinner in Asubio. Good quality food and good prices. The starters were excellent, innovative and beautifully presented. I enjoyed the main although my wife and daughter went for the meat joints (suckling pig and lamb) and they arrived "on the hoof" - i.e the full leg, which put them off a bit, but they tasted great. We... More

Arrived at 1.30 for lunch. Never got to eat there as we were offered a small table for two beside an open draughty window upstairs, when the restaurant was empty, apart from 2 diners sitting at a table for 4. We asked for better table, as they were all vacant and were told because we were just two we could... More

The daily 15€ menu at lunch time is excellent and also the pincho bar, but go upstairs for an extraordinary dinner. Nacho, the chef, is a former Michelin star holder and you can really note that. One night Nacho said to me: Just tell me if there is something you do not like and I will prepare a dinner you... More

The wine suggestions were great, as were the pinchos! The prices were very reasonable and the staff very friendly.
