Came across this place and didn't check the reviews as we thought we had eaten there before! The staff were not rude but just didn't care, typical tourist restaurant staff, they don't need people to return. The food we ordered was basic but very tasty, shame really as could be a really good restaurant.

Walked in unsuspectingly looking for a light lunch, ordered some jamon and local cheese with two glasses of wine. Cheese and bread were dry so we asked for some butter. The bill was outrageous - €2.64 for two bread rolls, €4.95 for 4 tiny cartons of butter that should have been free, and that on top of a €2.20 cover... More

"Greeted" by a very unfriendly person, this man acted like he was imprisoned and being forced to work, strangely appeared to be in charge. Eat out often and never experienced such an unfriendly server. My wife had a dish she could not eat it was so bad, mine was okay but nothing to write home about. Such a bad experience!... More

After wandering around Toledo for hours and considering a few places to eat, we chose this one because it looked less touristy then many. BIG Mistake to eat here. The man who sat us was the rudest/grumpiest human we've ever come across in the service industry! The food was disgusting! I had the soup which was a pale broth with... More

As tourists, we thought this restaurant and it's location was very welcoming and a local speciality, so we thought we had a winner... Completely WRONG. I wish someone stopped us from going inside, and if I ever see someone enter this restaurant, I will pay them to go somewhere else. The waiters, rude and unfriendly, literally threw the cutlery at... We returned several times to this mid city bar, withat the bar or table seating. Excellent chopitas, fried baby squid and draft beer, and many other goodies prepared while you wait. Interesting decor: animals on the wall, and other Toledo memorabilia.

I was starving, but I didn't want to stop in a place too "touristy". I stopped there and they said they didn't have any space in the restaurant and asked me if I wanted to sit in the bar space. On a stool, eating on a barrel, near a bull head, I said yes. The place looked nice, and the... More

Just picked the first restaurant we saw after the cathedral. We were quite hungry so didn't have the luxury of choice. Staff were friendly at least but the food was just average.

We stumbled upon this place because we were hungry and did not bother with reviews. Seeing the crowd, we thought it can't be too bad. The man who took our order was disgruntled when we asked if they had an English menu, so when we asked what meat the dishes were, he seemed impatient and walked off. Another lady came... More

Just avoid this terrible place. Unwelcoming owner. Trying to rip off unsuspecting tourists. Bad food. Go to other more pleasant restaurants.
