We ate an enjoyable lunch here from a fixed menu. We would have preferred to have been seated at a table in one of the underground caves that once had been used to store food and wine, but were allocated to an upstairs room However, from this room we had an excellent view of the Cathedral. Service was friendly and... More

We ate downstairs, on a very hot day, and it was cool and cosy. Service was very nice and friendly. We ate "potaje" (vegetables and chickpeas soup), meat and fish, and it was all delicious. Price was also very nice.

We were in Burgos during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, and on our first day we came across this restaurant by chance. It is small with an intimate atmosphere, and has a pleasant touch of old times. The waiter, Miguel, who also turned out to be the owner of the place, was very friendly and efficient, and always took... More

Found this restaurant whilst searching the town for a good evening meal. Looked in here at 2.30pm and it was packed with diners. Reserved a table for 8pm when they reopened for the evening. We dined on excellent steaks, cooked to perfection. Not huge steaks, about 8 ounce, served only with fried potatoes and bread. Excellent bottle of wine for... More

Food is OK. Not the best in town but not the worst as well. Good location nearby cathedral in a old building. Service was very good. Prices are a bit too expensive. -30% should be more in line with the quality. House wine inluded in menu was very nice.

Reasonably good food. I did not particularly like their sopa de mariscos. The main course was oxtail and I really enjjoyed it.

I was working teaching in Burgos and came here due to the reviews. I had the milk fed lamb and my wife had the roast lamb. This was without doubt the best lamb we have ever eaten in our lives. This is a wonderful restaurant, with wonderful food and wonderful service. Thank you to the staff for a meal we... More
