By far the best quality food and service we had in a week of dining in Salamanca. The unique menu choices were carefully explained (in Spanish and English) and we were advised not to have certain combinations of entrees and main courses as it would be too much to eat. (Not many restaurants will think of the customer before their... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Vinodiario. Our host was amazing! Pablo was extremely knowledgeable about wine and he did a great job helping us choose from a great list of tapas. All the food was delicious. Definitely worth a stop when you are in Salamanca!!

We arrived unheralded and without a booking at opening time (8.00) to be informed that the restaurant was fully booked. Luckily as some tables were not needed until 10.00 pm we were ushered in. Our waiter was both charming and helpful. He explained the various tapas dishes available and how best to mix and match, he also did not hesitate... More

Our Hotel Rector recommended this gem and we were delighted. The owner, Pablo, had an OUTSTANDING world knowledge of wines and this enabled him to recommend the best Spanish wine for our palates. The next day we met a US couple at breakfast at Rector who we recognised from Vinodiario and they noted the same as they were astonished that... More

This restaurant is very well known by the good palate people of the city. Next to the historic center, it offers typical dishes prepared in generous quantities. Good prices and both the owner and the waiters are great people who always advise you with joy. A great place to taste authentic Salamanca food and escape from restaurants to deceive tourists.

We headed to this restaurant after nearly a month of travel in Spain all feel a little homesick and tired. The friendly service and the enthusiasm of our waiter who spoke well was so lovely and lifted our spirits. The food was really good. The explanation of pairing the food was very good and everything we ordered worked well. The... More

We were in Salamanca for one night so booked a table here as we didn't want to miss out. It's a small place, casual and friendly and we were so comfortable that we stayed for four hours. Pablo was our waiter and sommelier and he was fantastic. He guided us in choosing the best dishes and was happy to "play... More

We made a reservation for 2:30, but showed up early. The place was empty, but every table was reserved. By 2:30, there wasn't an open seat ANYWHERE. Once the food came, we understood why! The food was delicious. We had the chickpeas and the Duck. The flavors were incredible. The staff was wonderful and we were treated very well. This... More

Smallish and very busy, so reserve. Can eat here tapas style - sharing plates - or in a more conventional manner. Either way the food is excellent and interesting; the service was just wonderful with great waiters who spent the time to explain things in slow Spanish (for me) or good English when my spanish failed me! Great wine recommendation... More

We stayed at the Hotel Rector and they recommended this restaurant. It is small with fabulous food. We loved it so much we made a reservation for the next night. Reservations are a must.
