What is there to write if everything is mouthwateringly perfect? Not often during dinner I close my eyes to better enjoy the taste. At Patagonia I did several times. Had a chorizo as starter, only slightly too salt but with deafening flavour. Tournedos Rossini as main and chocolate as dessert. First Malbec (by glass) was a mistake: mine. The other... More

The title of the restaurant says it all. Great Argentinian meats! We had a brilliant tender, tasty, and succulent shared beef plate, large being 250gm per person for us! It came with roasted vegetables in season. We asked for rare, as so many places rare means MR. so what we got was perfect. We tried the Argentinian wine.....it was lovely. The... More

While we did not order the steak, we must have ordered every starter on the menu. The ravioli was tasty, the vegetables grilled just right (not mushy, al dente), the empanadas good, and the Argentine sampler terrific. The "condiments" for the bread were delicious, particularly the vegetable one which had a little spice. Best to go with an appetite if... More

The restaurant was a short walk from the rented apartment where we were staying and it was recommended by the owner. Happy to report the Lomo cut of beef (filet mignon) was an excellent choice. Pairing with a bottle of malbec made it even better. Enjoyable evening, made more special by conversation with the guests at the table next to... More

We booked into here after reading Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Being a regular visit to Buenos Aires I was delighted to find my usual Empanadas and Chorizo on the menu - even better it was washed down with a bottle of my favourite Malbec, Trumpeter. Staff were also very attentive. yes there is cheaper around but you... More

We went here because we are big fans of great steak. We started with empanadas that were really good and provoleti which was good. My husband had sirloin and I had lomo filet. They were cooked to our liking. However, the sirloin was a bit chewy and not as flavorful as expected. The filet was tender enough but not as... More

We visited here after a recommendation from a colleague. The service was excellent - the food was great - and the steak was - as I guess you would expect! - cooked perfectly. Along with an South American wine this was a very enjoyable evening

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
