Very nice tapas restaurant but the food is average. The service is very good. You will probably find many better tapas places in Barcelona.

We heard about this restaurant by a few locals and we knew we had to try it! The first time we went, it was so crowded that we couldn't even get our name on the list. We tried a second time and it was well worth the wait! All the food was amazing, however they did run out of a... More

We had our first taste of Tapas and Sangria at Ciudad Condal and loved it! We were there after 3pm and had to queue but were seated within 15min. In my opinion, the food was authentic, no fuss and service was efficient.

Went there for lunch...had amazing tapas! A busy bustling restaurant in the heart of the city center...for a true taste of local tapas....this a must for any visitors. The Pork tenderloin with blue cheese 'roll' was out of this world!

I'd been here before on a previous visit. It was a short walk from my hotel and I managed to go every night of my trip, not by necessity but by choice. Get there early or you'll wait for a table, but I never had an issue sitting at the bar. Great staff, reasonable prices and excellent vast selection of... More

A very good place for trying a large and unique variety of Spanish specialties, whether it is tapas, sandwiches, seafood or vegetables, but be prepared for a long waiting unless you go outside the meal times. A multinational crowd from all around the world is making long queueing for trying the delicacies of the restaurant. The ambiance inside is pleasant... More

Sit at the bar, get a liter of Sangria and point to all of the yummy food that you want to taste. Friendly service and good food.

When you know a tapas place is good, you will need to wait for a table and that is exactly what happened to us when we visited Ciudad Condal. Of course we went at peak time - around 7:30pm. We waited 35 minutes for a table but it was well and truly worth the wait. The tapas are fantastic but... More

Got to get here 5:30 or so to grab a stool at the tapas bar....plan to spend an hour or more. Fantastic rotating selection of tapas. Sangria is the real thing...not premixed. Unique and delicous...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
