I feel terrible for taking my family to this place as I live in bcn and never thought that a baguette sandwich would cost 7eur and Coca-Cola 3. There were nowhere or any menu to find prices and as I live here I never though it could be that expensive!! Now I understand why the guy was pushing us to... More

We went for a quick coffee and sandwich and left with remorse and anger! I had a strange feeling when they were pushing out to the terrace to sit, which was very far away, and the food was horrible. When we got the bill, I was surprised to see a simple tomato and sliced cheese sandwich was €7.95. Being in... More

If I could review it 0 I would. I've never been caught out like this before. You arrive on holiday, waiting to check in, you're tired from the flight, and very hungry. How expensive can this little sandwich shop be? Sadly, very. 2 sandwiches and 2 tiny bottles of water for 25 euros. Imagine paying that in boots for a... More

After enjoying a wonderful massage, I saw this restaurant and stopped for a drink. Good service and good value. Recommended especially apple pie with vanilla ice cream

The place looks good from inside but for tourists it will be a nightmare! Super high prices and really bad customer service! Prices are not exposed! 7.50euros for a slice of pizza, also a bad and nearly expired one!

Me and my wife had two cups of coffee, two ordinary sandwiches and a small bottle of water at this place in June 2016. I wish we had not. For these simple items they billed us 28 euro. Inside the place we noticed a nauseating odor, probably related to the toilets. Stay away!

Worst place I've been to in Barcelona. I wish I checked Tripadvisor first to read about the warnings. This place is horrible expensive: 8 Euros for a baguette which tasted like old bread and cheese heated up in a microwave. Obviously they don't have any price signs outside. Just come in and pay and don't expect anything good. Just be... More

€18 for 2 soft drinks and 1 sandwich! Good job we didn't go for the sangria, what a bunch of con artists! This place just preys on the constant stream of tourists and has no care for repeat business. Avoid!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
