Fantastic traditional ice-cream. Chocolate fondant and yoghurt are my favourites. Though, I wish the waitress behind the counter would smile a bit more.

Great gelato, very much like the Italian gelato. We'd vidit here every day if we could! We tasted several flavors and they were all marvellous.

After lunch we were searching for gelato and came across this cute place. We absolutely loved this gelato. Great selection, cute atmosphere, generous portions, and very friendly staff. We went out of our way to return here because we all loved this gelato!

I know the assortment of flavors may seem paltry when compared to those big bright shops with their huge mounds of countless flavors, but having tried other gelato in the neighborhood, Cremeria Toscana is so the best we went back over and over (and over) again. The chocolates both regular and dark were rich and delicious (the lighter one perhaps... More

Stopped in one late evening and we were not disappointed!! I ordered a salted caramel cone which was delicious! Convenient location too, not too far from main thoroughfare. Priced well too and staff were very nice, a lovely spot!

Was reccomended here as the best place in barca for ice cream & it was as described. A selection of home made ice creams and delicious crepes. Waitress was extremely friendly and gave us multiple tasters as we wished for, will be missed !

Quite possibly the best ice cream I have ever tried. The Chocolate with chocolate chips is so very special. I also went to the location and La Princessa and it was also good but not the same.

We sought out this place based on Lonely Planet's recommendation, and we ended up going back for a second treat. This ice cream was simply delicious. Compared to other places, there were fewer flavors -- but what they lack in quantity they certainly make up in quantity. The price was very reasonable (3,50 euro for a large with three scoops).... This has to be by far one of the best ice cream shops in Barcelona. They are really delicious, made with love. Fruits are carefully selected, my favs are pistaccio, amarena and nocciola. Sorbets are excellent too!!! Normal prices

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
