The experience at Dos Cielos was amazing! I had the "spring2017" menù and every dish was a trip into the Spanish flavors. I liked it very much as well as the service that was friendly and very professional! The open kitchen then was the best part of the location, really enjoyed the view over the chefs!

It's odd they only have 1 Michelin star. They are much better than other ones with more stars. So take advantage of their price. Simply magical. Discover it.

Managed to get a table at 10.00pm which is later than we normally eat but we were staying in the hotel and both really liked the look of the restaurant and the menu. We have had many taster menus in top London restaurants and so chose this to see how it compared. Completely different flavours and the accompanying wine really... More

This 23 floor restaurant did not disappoint and was worth every penny We arrived for 8pm which is when service starts but by half past it had filled up. We chose the wine flight with our taster menu and my husband did enjoy them. There was only one wine I really liked. We do go to Michelin Star restaurants around... More

Since almost 10 years, this is probably my prefered retaurant in Barcelona. But, they made some changes, and the service is not the same perfection as before. Clearly the twins are now more focussed in their new Madrid, and Barcelona is changing.... Experience was good, but not as unic as in the past. We had the Full Degustation Menu, with... More

We enjoyed or time at Dos cielos. The two brothers who are the chefs have created an experience which keeps you wondering what is going to be next. Do the tasting menu and and the wine paring. Our experience was that the wine enhanced the flavor of each dish. There were some times of confusion, but I think it was... More

I've been invited for my birthday, and the place is absolutely stunning. Not knowing about the place, the waitress was very knowledgeable and charming. Being in the gastronomic food and beverage industry I have very high expectations, and every 9 meals of the tasting menu were breathtaking. I didn't even feel heavy after the dinner which is a must. Cocktails... More

Although many will be attracted by the stars outside or the Michelin Star it has, the star here is, as it should be, the food. I am not sure what the recent negative reviews are on about but the degustation menu, accompanying wine choices and service were impeccable when we visited.

My fiance and I have eaten at plenty of Michelin star restaurants and every time the experience has ranged from good to life-changing. Dos cielos was mediocre. Between the 3 factors we usually use to rate restaurants: taste, presentation, service only the presentation was up to standard. Service wise, I ordered wine pairings, but more than half way through the... More

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
