If you happen to be walking by when it's open and a table is available then give it a go. However, it's certainly not worth queuing and the staff could never be described as welcoming.

Tasty tapas in Asian style. Dumplings are really really good. Crew is a bit different than usual restaurant in Barcelona 😀 but we took it as a nice differentiator.

This review is for the take away part of this restaurant which is around the corner on Carrier d'en Giralt el Pellisser. We found a good choice of dumplings and other food. Good price and good quality.

I came to mosquito on a recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Authentic Asian cuisine in Barcelona was a welcomed change from the usual tapas. The restaurant is busy and when you taste the food you understand why. Everything is freshly made upon your order and there is a good selection for a good price. The service leaves... More

If you like places were you feel that they are doing you a favor by feeding you, then this is the right place to go. The food is good, but not that good. The cherry on top is that if you are in a group you can't pay with different credit cards, you know, too much trouble for them to... More

The food is amazing! We had some problems to understand the menu, but it's definitely worth to just ordered anything! We tried a lot and we will definitely come back !

While looking for Asian, we discovered Mosquito. High ratings and good good were the highlights and indeed it was a very good experience. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, the portions were larger than tapas sized food, therefore more filling. But what was better was the darkish and intimate atmosphere. The place was not full when we first got there... More

I really enjoyed Mosquito. The staff was friendly even though the place was pretty busy. We ordered some dumplings, but the vegetarian ones were the tastiest. So was the huge bowl of soup we had. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

This restaurant is fun and charming. It's the perfect choice if you're looking for a cheap, casual dinner with plenty of variety. Dishes are an average of €4 and served in the tapas style. Service is very casual and friendly. Expect a short wait for a table. I've had tastier dim sum, but that's not the point with this place,... More

The place is quite cosy, the food is good and the people working there is quite friendly. The only thing they must take more care is the booking list. Yesterday I had to wait more than 1 hour for sitting with 4 people when there were tables with just 2 people. The blonde girl in the entrance should take more... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
