If a restaurant, with matured beef as its speciality, which does not ask in advance how you want your meat cooked, then lets two charred dry steaks go out of the kitchen on a €30 plate with practically zero garnish (which must be ordered as...More

This was a recommendation from a tour guide at our lunch stop. It was a terrific experience. A lot of the other customers were local people having a quick bite or a beer. We had several varieties from meat, to fish, to vegetables. All were...More

We got to know this place around 10 years ago, since then we have gone every time when we visit BCN. This restaurant and Bar have a tradition, if you talk to local people, nearly everyone knows it. You have various choices at this place...More

We stumbled across this place after a long day exploring Barcelona. We pulled up chairs near the bar and sampled a wide variety of pintxos (Basque tapas) and drank Basque wines. We had our 2 young teens along and they found things they liked, despite...More

After visiting the Picasso Museum, we were looking for a place for a snack. We came across Sagardi which is on a square a couple blocks away. It was better than a lot of Tapas restaurants, especially those on or near Las Ramblas. They had...More

We were there on a Saturday evening. At the bar they serve nice 'pintxos', held with long toothpicks, which you select yourself from big platters, and pay for afterwards when they count the number of toohtpicks on your plate. Busy place. The waiters are nice...More

We got in by recommendation by a tour guide. We decided to go for the restaurant instead of the tapas and were treated to a gastronomic tour de force! The fried anchocies abd beef cold cuts were good starters. The pork ribs were excellent. Just...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

You need to talk to them directly. I made a reservation for 7 PM back in September. But when I came to Barcelona, they knew nothing about this reservation. We came there at around 6 PM and the place was empty

A restaurant concept based on the traditional Basque taverns, spaces to share the country’s best ciders and wines with the best quality Basque cuisine. A concept composed of two options: a pintxos bar with more than 80 varieties, and the grill restaurant with meats and grilled fish as the main attraction.
