A great in Barcelona for tapas. They are fresh, different and served by the gran ma or the daughter. A mix of people from Barcelona and foreigner. Good ambiance !

We appreciate this small place and the food, 5 montaditos and a portion of patata brava, with a tasty small beer. The price of the coupon was honest and the staff kind.

I found this place quite by accident while wandering the alleys in Barcelona's Gothic quarter. It's in a by-lane near the old cathedral. The bar makes its own vermouth and you can pick up a bottle to bring back home; it's quite cheaply priced but of excellent quality. You can also eat some fab tapas here.

The family have three bars in this street, all by the same name serving their own vermut from a tap. Add some great tapas and you are in for the real catalan experience.

Stopped by for some quick tapas and they were delicious. My favorite was the eggplant. The owner said she made great sangria so I had to have a glass. I must say I agree with her - wonderful sangria! The place is cozy and has the owner is very nice.

If you want to have a break while sipping a sweet and spicy vermut go to Cala del Vermut. In a narrow street this tiny bar offers traditional tapas in a trendy atmosphere.

Small quirky bar set in a side street close to plaza nova and the cathedral. The food consists of tapas or raciones and you have a whole variety to choose from. Seafood, veg or meat. Try the Tortilla and berenjenas. They serve a good vermut with the clasic bottles of sifon. Great atmosphere and staff are friendly. You can get... More

Wandered in after visiting the cathedral. I would have preferred to find a less touristy location, but my companions were tired and hungry - what can you do...? While the prix fixe menus are generally good value, the problem is that they often don't have dishes that excite me. So, I ordered a steak a la carte. My companions ordered... More

I'm still confused whether this is a tourist trap or not. This place is tiny and cozy, with small tables and a good atmosphere. They tell you that the menu is on the wall (in Catalan / Spanish) and if you ask they give you a menu in English. None of these include the prices :) If I were to... More

If you don't enjoy this I'd challenge your soul! Off track for the obvious and so much better than the standard bar with tapas on bread...the hostess is friendly and generous, and there is a non-tourist ambiance. Appreciate this for what it is: well priced & tasty food, atmosphere, fun and Spanish! Recommended.
